It was the late ninth of August. An unexpected turn of events were represented by the rain, my downfall, my defeat and my heart broke. My whole family died an agonizing death. In the hands of the illness.

My heart no longer linger in the flames of courage and hope. A frustrating pain I held in my heart, seeing death around me. In a cementry full of graves and grieving people that no longer felt the warmth of their loved ones.

"Mom.. Dad.. Boris.. Why do you have to leave so early "

I kneeled down in front of their tombstones. Seeing their names carved in them. Sobbing I continued to ignore the cries or rainfall.

"Mugs why leave now? "

A sudden voice of a fellow grieving man whispered. I stared at his direction and saw him standing in front of a single tombstone. He kept a trembling smile, seeing tears peak through his ruby eyes.

I could tell he was breaking horridly bad. And I mustered up my strength of will to console him of his sorrows.

"Hey... how are you holding up? "

The man only turned to me and still kept his trembling smile. I for once didn't, I held a face of pure worry. And he looked into my eyes and said.

"Do you feel like you've spent little to no time with someone only to regret it after they left? "

"Yes I do... taking them for granted was the worst mistake I've done in my life"

The two was both sunken in heavy grief, they were almost helpless to say the least. But all things could be mangled as well as to be healed.

Bendy sticks out his hand and smiled warmly, even through the black hole that grew in his trembling body.

"But even through all of this loss I must keep smiling and fade all my sorrow little by little "

He looked into Cuphead's eyes and tried to search through his guilt-filled conscience. And there he saw a glimmer of hope for him.

"And that goes to you too Cuphead... will you care to join me through this sorrow? "

A slight tug on his lips was enough to convince him and finally Cuphead reached up and grabbed his hand.

"Please do"
