Two Months Later.
The gigs slowly started to stop as my stomach showed a little. I wear looser shirts now, being four months pregnant that is.
I waited outside for Sydney. She was just coming over so we could chat.
Sydney is now about six months pregnant. Let me tell you, it's going to be a big baby.
I smiled watching Sydney pull her car on the driveway.
I watched her slowly get out of the car as she waddled up to the deck.
I giggled, "Yer're looking great!" I smirked.
Sydney laughed, "I'm only six months and look 'ow big I am!"
I smirked.
Sydney sat beside me.
She gently laid her hands on my stomach, "I see a little bump is coming along. Ya know, for being four months pregnant your bump is a lot smaller than mine was.." Sydney sighed.
I smirked, "Maybe it's a small baby then." I shrugged.
Sydney placed her hands on her stomach as she gently rubbed.
"I have some news.." She said, starting off to the distance.
I smiled slightly, "What's that?"
Sydney turned her head towards me, "I'm 'aving twins." She said.
I gasped, covering my mouth.
"Twins?!" I said.
Sydney smiled widely, "Yeah!"
"Wow, Syd.. That's amazing! Double-trouble, right?" I laughed.
Sydney chuckled, "That's why I'm so huge. Two babies, I'm eating for three people." She laughed.
I smirked, "Well, for 'aving twins you look great." I said.
Sydney smiled at me, "Thank ya. Steven is just reacting 'ow he always has. Meh." She shrugged.
"Oh, he'll be feeling emotions once he sees his kids!" I smiled widely.
She smirked at me, " 'Ow's Scott treatin' ya?" She asked.
"Very good. He's being very careful with me." I giggled.
"It's so odd how easy I'm being. I used to be so tough.." I sighed.
"Oh, you'll be more tough after the baby is born. I bet yer're gonna be so protective of that child!" She said.
I smirked, "Probably."
I turned to Sydney, "Do you know the genders yet?" I asked.
She shrugged, "I'm guessing a boy and a girl. But to answer yer question, no." She said.
"What do ya think about yer baby?" Sydney asked me.
I shrugged, "I just want a healthy baby. That's all."
Sydney smiled at me, "Good point." She said.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sydney and I spent a few hours talking outside. We've talked about the basics: How we're feeling, future, children.
Though it was mostly Sydney talking, I didn't mind. It's nice to actually have a friend that's a girl for once.
" 'Ey, Jules. Can ya come inside?" Scott kindly asked.
"Um, Sure." I said, getting up from the deck and walking inside.
Scott closed the front door as I entered the house.
