After some thought, I've decided I'm going to leave Wattpad
I started about 3 years ago, and when I did, I was a Hamilton obsessed kid who wanted to write their own stories. I've become a lot better at writing, but I just don't have the passion for writing on here anymore. What I mean is that I have escaped the Hamilton fandom hole.
I've always been one to really overwork myself. And I was planning on continuing to overwork myself in the summer. I set so many goals for myself, and then in late May, Captain America grabbed me by the ankles and flung me deep into the Marvel fandom. And I became obsessed with more TV/non musical things (such as Supernatural, Sherlock, The Walking Dead, etc.) and with all of these new fandoms I grew farther from theatre.
The thing I'm most known for is my Hamilton stories (obviously because I'm saying this on this book) and I feel like most of the people here are here for Hamilton things. And I'm not shaming anyone who still likes Hamilton. It still holds a place in my heart but I just have no interest in it anymore. I've built a Hamilton reputation and no one wants to read anything else that I want to write since most are here for Hamilton/theatre. And now all I want to write about is Supernatural and Marvel, but I know that no one gives a shit about those.
I obviously don't need to go into this whole rant. I could've just quoted a vine reference and then disappeared into thin air. But becoming a more detailed writer, I like to put my heart into what I care about. And Wattpad, and the people on here have provided me with so many smiles and made me the happiest person in the world that people actually cared about what I did. Unless you literally don't care at all, that's fine too.
I'm still going to leave the account up, maybe just in case you want to go back and keep reading my stories. But I've honestly lost the passion I had for writing on here, and the things I used to write about. So thank you for all of the laughs and kindness you've brought me. I really appreciate it <3
