{[∆] Stay Silent}

I ripped my eyes away from our hands but didn't say anything against it. I smiled softly and looked over at Chloe. My discomfort disappeared. She smiled when she noticed my happy expression.

"Well, I'll get you those glasses you need and you two can chat up a storm." Chloe smirked.

"Don't send Rex after Hank, Chloe." I told her, my sides and arms feeling awkward slightly since they were new.

"Who's Rex?" Connor asked, tilting his head to the side with a soft confused smile.

"You don't want to know." I sighed.

"So, what's the real reason you ran away?" Connor asked. I checked my status between us.

I looked back down at our hands. I trust him and he trusts me, but I don't know if I want to risk Cyberlife finding out.

"No real reason, I just felt curious and wanted to explore. Chloe was always gone and I don't really enjoy the company of the other androids. Not to mention I'm too human to be put to work because I'll end up forgetting something or just not doing it because I don't feel like it." I told Connor, not lying. I just hadn't told him the whole truth. I kept checking our status.

"That makes a bit more sense. I don't exactly feel comfortable here either. Why are your eyes damage?" He asked. I felt embarrassed for some reason, not wanting to meet his gaze.

"I-I damaged them almost two months ago. I had ran in with an Android that wasn't stable and was punched in the side of the head and my optical units were damaged by the force." I nervously rubbed the back of my head.

My hair was still a mess. I gasped and ripped my hand out of his and buttoned up my shirt quickly. Connor laughed softly and had my coat and tie in his hand. I took a comb off Chloe's desk and began using it to fox my hair, pulling it back into a tight bun. Once I was done, I rolled my sleeves down and took my tie. I quickly tied it and put on my trench coat, smiling happily when I had gotten them on. I then took Connor's hands and intertwined them in my own, smiling softly. I looked up at him and noticed he was once again showing signs of illness as his cheeks flushed red.

"Are you okay, Connor? You seem to be catching a fever." I told him as I took one of my hands and placed it on his cheek. He leaned into my hand and an emotion fluttered in my gut, but I'm not supposed to feel like this. I'm a machine. I'm not supposed to be feeling emotions towards anything, rA9 forbid a human.

"I'm okay, just shocked." He hummed out and kept pressing into my touch gently. His heartbeat was picking up at an alarming rate, his body temperature rising as well. I shook softly, worried about him going into cardiac arrest.

"W-We should probably go check on Hank." I told him, stuttering slightly as I felt thirium in my pumps start to rise to my face.

Connor nodded and I let my hand gently fall from his face, lightly rubbing my thumb on his cheek as it fell. My face started to heat up a bit more as a warning popped into my vision. 'Systems Overheating' in bright red, telling me to calm down. I stared at Connor and he smiled at me warmly, his face tinted in a pink red hue. I got off the table and Connor took my hand, lightly pulling me with him out of the workshop and down the hall. Chloe was in her weird red pool, Hank standing off to the side awkwardly. He was looking outside but standing so professional and stiff, Connor seemed to notice too.

"Chloe, thank you for patching me up. Come on Hank, we're going." I thanked Chloe and grabbed the Android's attention.

"Wait, (Y/n)!" Chloe got out of her pool and quickly got on her robe, rushing over to me. I waited and she grabbed my hand, causing me to freak out and pull my hand away since her hands were wet and I'm a machine. "I've recently upgraded you a bit, you're now waterproof. You can go swimming and take showers now."

"I wouldn't need to take a shower, I don't sweat or get dirty except during cases. In which case I can just wipe the stuff off with a rag." I shook my hand, the water flying off.

"You'll need showers." Chloe stated. I didn't understand, I feel like she's implying something but I don't know what.

"Wait, how did you know my name was (Y/n)? Connor named me three days ago, before then I was registered simply as YN840." I brought up. I glared at her softly in suspicion.

"Well, just because you turned off your inner gps to hide from me, doesn't mean I won't see when you have your name registered. In fact, I was notified as soon as it was registered." Chloe smiled deviously. I frowned and dropped my glare, simply grabbing Connor's hand with both of mine and dragging him with me to the door.

"I'm done with this shit, let's go." I muttered bitterly.

"Wow, mood." Connor muttered back as he followed me. Hank followed us as we left.

We headed into the car but I stopped before getting in. Connor and Hank looked at me in confusion.

"FUCK." I groaned and slammed the door closed, stopping through the snow back to Chloe's front door. I hesitated before harshly knocking. The door swung open to reveal a very cocky Chloe.

"Hey, whatcha doing back so early?" She smirked. I hissed in anger and and clenched my fists.

"Just give me the fucking glasses." I sighed and tried to calm myself down.

"Why are you so angry?" Chloe asked, heading into the house and leaving me in the doorway.

"You were spying and tracking my actions against my consent. Wouldn't you be angry if someone was tracking your search history online while also being able to watch your cameras without your knowledge?" I leaned against the doorway and watched as Chloe disappeared from view.

"Okay, okay, I see your point." She admitted. "But you had to expect it, you ran away without telling me and turned off your GPS. I was simply worried about you." She tried to lighten the emotional damage she had done to me.

"I know. Just give me my damn glasses, slut." I huffed, crossing my arms.

"You're in such a rush. Say, you aren't trying to rush just because you want to get back to Connor, are you." Chloe peaked knowingly around the corner as she backed into the room and started heading over to me. "You know, Connor needs glasses too. He just wears contacts when around others or on the job."

"Wait what?" My eyes widened and a mental image of Connor with glasses started to form in my head. "Hold on, put that on hold. Give me the damn glasses." I impatiently stared at Chloe as she finished cleaning the lense. I took them and put them on, my vision clearing up and I could see perfectly once more. "Thank you."

I closed the front door and jogged back to the car, careful not to slip on the slippery road. I opened the car door for the back seat and slid in quickly, making sure the door didn't clean on my coat.

"Hey, (Y/n)?" Hank called back to me.
