{[⏹️] Shoot Deviant}

No one was safe with that deviant on the run. He grabbed a pistol from one of the officer's as he passed and I quickly took another officer's pistol. My finger flicking back the hammer, before the deviant could loft the gun to aim I pulled the trigger and a bullet pierced through the deviant's thirium pump. Everyone stared at me with wide eyes as I lowered the pistol that had smoke coming from the barrel, slowly handing it back to the owner. Hank seemed a bit suprised but he seemed a bit mad as well.

"Why'd you kill it?! We could've gotten information from it, you idiot." He growled at me in hostility, glaring at me. I face palmed and nodded, realizing my mistake.

"I told you already, I'm too human." I grumbled and stuffed my hands in my pants pockets, sluggishly heading over to Connor.

"That was badass, (Y/n)." Connor pointed out, causing me to smile lightly. I felt a hand place itself on my shoulder and tensed up, quickly turning around and grabbing the person's wrist tightly.

"Hey, easy tiger. It's just me again." Markus laughed nervously, my grip on his wrist threatening to cut off circulation. I loosened my grip once I recognized Markus and jumped back, muttering apologies repeatedly. "I should've learned from the first time, it's not your fault."

"Who's this?" Connor asked, his voice coming out as a low and slightly hostile growl. He gave me a possessive look before glaring at Markus sharply.

"This is Agent Manfred. He and I were discussing the evidence earlier and I ended up disarming him when we first started talking." I explained briefly to Connor, giving him a reassuring smile. Connor smiled back and calmed down, his gaze softening.

"Are you two together?" Markus asked, reminding me that he was there. I had forgotten when Connor returned my smile.

"What? No." I turned to Markus, seeing him let out a relieved sigh. Connor glared at Markus again. "Anyways, why did you want my attention?"

"Oh, I wanted to say that you did something unexpected and impressive." Markus smiled happily, seeming to try and charm me. He was very attractive, but I don't want to have competition with two other people.

"No, I was stupid. I should've just shot its hand or arm instead of straight through the thirium pump. Now we can't get any information from the deviant." I ran a hand through my hair, sighing in frustration.

"Hey, don't beat yourself up." Connor frowned and placed a hand on my shoulder. Markus nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, it was just you thinking on impulse. You reacted based on what you thought would happen." Markus spoke to me as if I were a real human. It made me feel guilty about not telling him I am an Android.

"I know, but I can't help but blame myself. Hank is right, I'm an idiot." I sighed and headed to the elevator since I didn't want to interfere with the case.

Connor and Markus both called to be before I waved them off and headed to the elevator, sitting in it calmly. After a good fifteen minutes and twenty three seconds, Hank and Connor were in the elevator with me. Hank pressed the buttons and we stayed in silence. I stayed quiet and Hank didn't have his lighter, Connor must've taken it. Connor was staring at the elevator doors calmly. I was on the very left side of the elevator, Connor in the middle, and Hank was on the right with the buttons.

We stayed silent all the way until we got to the car. Hank was driving again, but instead of sitting in front, Connor sat in the back with me. I stayed silent, waiting until we were all in the car before laying my head against Connor's shoulder and letting out a soft whine that I knew Hank wouldn't be able to pick up over the sound of the ac blasting cold air. I knew Connor heard it though, he looked at me in concern before starting to gently run his hands through my hair. It felt so good, I couldn't help but lean into his touch. Soon enough we were laying together in the back seat, my head resting peacefully on Connor's chest as one of his hands ran through my hair. I reached one of my own hands to Connor's hair and returned the movements.

"What are you two doing back there?" Hank spoke up, glancing back at us while at a red light.

"Nothing." I muttered bitterly, glaring at Hank softly. My glare dropped when Connor put a bit more pressure into massaging my head.

"We are relaxing." Connor answered Hank. I sighed but relaxed a bit more in Connor's hold. After a few minutes, the car came to a stop and Hank pulled the keys out of the ignition.

"We're back at the station." Hank huffed and got out of the car.

I laid on Connor for a few more seconds before sighing and getting up. My hair was a lot messier now and Connor's was just like how it was last time I ran my hands through it. We got out of the car and headed into the building. I just walked straight to the gate again and it opened in front of me, allowing me access while Connor was trying to get his ID out. I may have hacked the gate, but that's okay.

"(Y/n), how'd you get through the gate?" Hank asked, entering the area and waiting for Connor.

"That's a secret." I hummed, glaring softly at Hank as I went to Connor's desk and sat in his chair.

Connor and Hank came over and talked for a bit. They stood at Hank's desk and I got up, drawing a little bit of attention to myself. Hank and Connor kept talking, but Gavin noticed. He was sitting in Nile's chair, but he stood up a moment after me. I headed to the break room, Gavin on my tail. I need coffee. I don't normally enjoy coffee but it's the only drink they have here. I grabbed a cup and turned around, only for my drink to be smacked out of my hand by Gavin.

"Dude, what the fuck?" I glared at him in confusion and frustration.

"What are you gonna do about it, bitch?" Gavin smirked.
