{[∆] Tie}

I smiled softly, heading to Connor's closet. I opened it and said he had all his ties neatly hung up. I pulled down an all black tie. There was a grey and black plaid one up on the rack. I put the solid black tie back and quickly grabbed the plaid one, my hands working quickly as I tied the tie. I Made sure everything was perfect before leaving the room. My eyes landed on the two males ahead that were talking. I briskly walked over and was instantly knocked over my Sumo as soon as I was about a yard away from Connor and Hank.

I yelped and caught the attention of the other two. I laughed softly as I tried to push Sumo off, the large saint bernard let out a bark in refusal.

"Connor, help me." I pleaded and giggled when Sumo laid down.

"I don't know, Sumo looks pretty happy." Connor teased. Hank smiled as Connor and I laughed. I started to try pushing Sumo off, earning a growl from the dog.

"Connor, he's going to kill me. Please help." I started to stress out, not sure if Sumo would attack me. I checked my levels.

[ Stress 78% ⏫]

Hank noticed my stress and looked to Connor, who was still amused at my expense.

"Sumo, up." He commanded the dog. Sumo got up and padded off, not interested anymore.

I sighed in relief and quickly rushed to get off the ground and get the dog fur off me. I brushed the dirt and dust off, my strands of hair falling in my face. I sighed and made my hair intentionally messy, running my hands through it and keeping it a mess. I smiled at Connor and Hank happily. Connor reached to the top of his head and ran a hand through it, his hair always being messy.

"I hope you don't mind, I don't feel like being professional. It seems tiring." I told them, feeling sharp pains from hunger. I ignored it though.

"That's perfectly fine, don't worry about it." Connor smiled happily and we headed out to his car. We all climbed in, I was in the back since I liked the space of having three whole seats to myself.

Connor started up the car, the music blasting through the speakers. He didn't do anything to adjust the volume and we headed out, pulling out of the driveway. We headed straight to the police station. I started to feel nervous. What if Gavin or Niles bother me? Am I allowed to harm them? My thoughts raced and I felt anxiety course through me. My stress raised quickly. Connor and Hank chatted about cases while I made sure my glasses weren't askew on me.

I blinked a few times and I felt my systems heating up, a stress headache starting to stab my head. I laid down and made sure I was buckled. My stress is shitty. My sensors allowed me to feel the discomfort of laying on the seatbelt and the buckle. I felt slightly tired and unmotivated at the thought of having to work. Connor and Hank seemed to notice my silence and looked back at me while we were at a red light. I stared at them as they stared at me. I frowned and adverted me gaze to the roof.

"What's wrong, (Y/n)?" Hank asked. "Your stress is dangerously high."

"Work. I don't like it." I sighed. "I have a question though. Am I allowed to harm Gavin and/or Niles mentally or physically?"

"I mean, you can't harm them physically or else you'll be deemed a deviant and sent to Cyberlife." Hank told me. "But mentally is different. You can hurt them mentally since there would be no trace or marks on their physical body created at your own hands." I nodded and smirked.

"I'm glad I was programmed with psychologic programming that helps with cases. Although the main reason I have it is to help calm people down from panic and anxiety attacks." I rambled the extra information to myself.

"What?" Connor and Hank both asked, one tone confused and the other in disbelief.

"I thought you weren't supposed to be helping with cases, you said you were a caretaker android." Connor pointed out.

"Of course. Hence the reason I was programmed to know psychology, to help with panic attacks. It also happens that in order to protect my future owner, I can use psychology to get people to go away." I explained as we began to pull up the the police station.

As soon as the car was parked, I sat up and unbuckled quickly. I threw myself out of the car and stretched. Earning a few weird looks from people, I smiled tiredly and headed straight for the door. Connor and Hank hurried to catch up to me, showing the ID as the small gate in front of me opened.

"(Y/n)! Wait, you can't go running off without giving identification." Connor mildly scolded. I scoffed softly.

"I don't need to, I always have my ways of getting around things." I muttered softly. I was instantly greeted by a scowling Gavin and zero acknowledgement from Niles. Connor was staring at me in shock, disbelief and slight concern.

"WHAT?! (Y/n), that isn't right!" Connor continued to scold me. I winced slightly and laughed. Our actions caused a bit of attention to be drawn to us as we headed to the desk.

"I don't care, I've never been caught." I shrugged casually.

"I respect that." Niles smiled softly and chuckled.

Connor glared at his brother and Gavin glared at me a bit harsher. I smiled to the male android and did a lazy two finger salute before spinning away in the chair. Hank let out a soft laugh as Niles snickered at my rebellious behavior.

"(Y/n), if you've never been caught then what you do may be suspiciously illegal." Connor sighed. I shrugged lazily once more while spinning.

"If I'm under suspicion, there's nothing for me to worry about. I currently am homing with you until I decide who my owner is." I smiled softly. "And you are a lieutenant."

Connor's mouth gaped as he tried to come up with the right response. Niles gaped as well, but in amusement as he laughed.

"She used logic to beat you!" He laughed heartily and smiled in joy as his brother fumed in anger and embarrassment. I scanned Connor, seeing his stress rise.
