Okay so this was for an activity we did earlier. My teacher in Creative Non-Fiction said we should write something using the last message we sent to people.
I own two phones, so I didn't know which to use. So, I wrote for both. The other one was kinda like a short story so I passed it. This one is obviously a poem. My teacher said the title of the poem should be the last message we sent. This is why my title is a bit weird.

"Okay Then"
It all started with the words 'okay then'
Those were the words I said
When you asked me to be yours
Those were the same words
I said when I asked
If we could go out but you said no
Those words were often used by me
Whenever you turned me down
And do something else
I hate those words
Those words were the reason
I haven't been sleeping and eating
I've constantly been stuck saying those words
To the point where those words were the only words I say and
I keep repeating them in my head
One day, I've had enough
I told you we were done
And you said the most heartbreaking thing
You shrugged and said 'okay then'
Not caring about me or what we had
I thought you would at least change
Funny how we started happily
And ended bitterly with
The same words that made 'us' happen
You kept going and going
I stayed and got stuck
While you moved on without me; forgetting about 'us'
I keep thinking of what
Was once ours and what we used to have
Even though there's nothing to come back to anymore
It all ended with the words 'okay then'
Those were the words you said when
I grew tired of you forgetting about me
