Divergent: After High School

Scared

We play for a while then we go to bed. Eric and Peter leave. I feel very awkward, like I shifted in my skin.

"Tobias," I say.

"Ya?" He says.

"I feel like they're planning something," I say.

"Who?" He asks.

"Eric and Peter," I answer.

"Oh," he says. "Me too, I just don't know what. But I swear if they hurt you-"

"I know Tobias," I say, laughing a little. He's so cute when he's overprotective. We both go to shower. I start singing Let it Go from Frozen. I turn off the water and put on my pajamas, pink sweatpants and a black crop top. I leave the bathroom and see Tobias wearing sweatpants but no shirt. I climb into bed next to him.

"You're really good," he says. "Not like the other singers." I blush. "And you're cute, too." I blush even more, looking down. "Especially when you blush." He uses his fingertips to push my chin up and kisses me. I'm scared that Peter and Eric might be planning something, I'm absolutely terrified, but Tobias makes me feel completely care free, like I'm floating. Things escalate.
