I had a feeling that Washington wasn't trying to help us think of what to do next. He  was still aiming his head at the horde below us, watching his wife get a brutal death. "Washington, think! We can't do this without you!" I say to him, and smacking his shoulder to get him to come out of the shock. He shakes his head, turns to us, then looks around at the surroundings. "Thomas.. I can't think of anything.." He says. I nod and look at him. "Don't worry about it.. I think I have a plan but it's risky." I say to him.

"If you look out that way, passed those buildings, you can see a large house.. Looks well protected by that fence. I say we head out that way after the situation we're in right now." I say, trying to calm everyone down and make sure they know there's still hope. "So we'll head there after this?" Jess says eagerly. I nod and think more. "We need to take down this roof.. It'll be risky, as I said, though it will take down this horde below us. We'll just need to keep our balance as it collapses." I suggest quickly. The others paused for about a minute, thinking about it, then they all nod and agree. "Okay then. We need to start jumping or hitting this then, to knock it down."

We then begin to stomp and jump on the roof, hoping for something, anything, to happen. We then ended up close in on each other, maybe all of the weight and force in one area would be enough to bring it down. That's when we knew it was enough. The whole building started to shake, as if it were an earthquake.

Large chunks of the roof started to tumble down all around us; I happened to look over the edge and notice the biters being crushed by some of the pieces. The group tried to keep their balance as the largest portion, the one we were standing on, started to tilt and slide off of the full thing. The portion we were standing on then detaches and falls for a short amount of time only to slam against the second floor. The group and I couldn't hold our balance that short distance but most of us got up right away.

Washington and I had managed to jump near the stairs, dodging any of the biters. We then looked back to see them get up and try to run toward us. Though the second floor couldn't hold the weight, especially with that impact of the roof and us standing on it. The second floor then collapsed, with Jess trying to dive for us, but falling with the rest. Craig, Sandra, and Jess were all laying in the rubble, with whatever was left of the horde coming toward them. Washington and I jumped down onto the debris to help everyone up and get them moving.

"You help them up, I'm going to defend them from the oncoming horde!" Washington says to me. I nod and run pass Jess, since she had gotten up just fine, and over to Craig and Sandra. I help up Sandra and Craig, helping them dust off the dirt and whatnot. Once they were all up, catching their breath and ready to go, I grabbed Washington and we all headed towards the edge of the woods, where we found Sandra and Craig.

The rest of the horde, maybe about 23 biters, were still after us. "Hurry, let's get to that house before they can reach us!" Sandra shouts. We start running through the forest, dodging trees, rocks and bushes. I had noticed some biters already in the woods, though they got thicker the more we went through. "Watch for biters!" I yell back at them. Jess and Sandra were close behind me, Washington behind them, and Craig behind him.

We got close enough to get a good view of the place, though there was a problem. The whole back fence was swarmed with these things. Enough to destroy the fence. I'm surprised the fence hadn't fallen already. "Let's get around.. To an area that's open." I suggest, moving to the right of the horde that was against the fence. "There's a spot! We need to climb the fence!" Jess says and runs up. "This fence is too tall, Jess! We need something to stand on!" I say to her.

She looked around and saw a car peered around the corner. "Guys, help me grab this car and pull it up to the fence! We could climb on it and get over!" Jess says eagerly and runs up to it. We didn't really have a choice, the horde that was following us from passed the forest finally caught up to us. We all run up to the car and Washington breaks the window, unlocks it and puts it in neutral so we could move it easily. Washington manages the front and steering it while the rest of us pushed it.

We were so intrigued with moving this car up to the fence we weren't paying attention. "Stop! Stop pushing the car! Stop!" Washington yelled. I look up as Washington jumped away from the moving car. We stopped moving it, of course it was a few moments after he told us to stop. The car then rolls down a small hill, ramming into the fence, damaging it greatly and the car then runs a small distance into the yard. We then start running in, toward the house.

"Stop right there! We will shoot you!" A voice said, stopping us in our tracks. "We should shoot you right now, after what you did to my daddy's fence!" The voice said. I made it out. It was a female's voice. Washington walked up next to me. "What do we do, Thomas?" He asked. Later three figures appeared around the corner of the house. One of them, the girl who yelled, was holding a shotgun. The next one was a guy; he had a crowbar in one hand and some handgun in the other. The last one was another female, she was holding a pickaxe, I don't think she had anything else. "Now, we ain't going to let you leave until you fix my daddy's fence, ya' hear me?" The girl said, aiming her gun at us.
