"Where're we goin' boss?" A man named Guillermo said to Devan. Devan looked in the rear view mirror to the tatted up, ex-con and then looked back at the road. "A small town called Garson. This place has many homes, a police station, and a warehouse. Those'll be our main stops. The skinnier man, next to Guillermo, Wilson, was looking out the window. "Looks like we're close then, eh? We just passed a welcome sign." Wilson says. "Yeah, I see it up ahead, Devan." Quinton says, sitting next to Devan in the passenger seat petting Abira. The two sisters - or sister-in-law's - Josie and Saige, in the very back of the SUV were sitting silently, making small talk to each other as they all arrived to Garson.

"Well, let's sweep the houses first.. I think it's 4 by 4 blocks, stay close, two houses apart at the most. Quinton, Wilson, and I will look through the houses nearby." Devan points out as he spoke. Parked at the edge of the town, they all agreed then departed. Devan, Quinton, and Wilson then head to the first house on the right of them, the other three to the house next to that.

Devan kicked the first door in and aimed his single shot pistol around the room as Abira walks passed him. "Clear in the first room." He calls out. Wilson walks in the house and goes off to the right, kicking in doors on that side, while Quinton and I checked out the left side. "All clear. Saw a deadie, but killed it." Wilson calls out. Devan shakes his head, he liked the term 'Biter' better. Quinton comes in the room Devan was in. "I think this one's all clear. Let's head out for the next one." Quinton informs Devan. Devan was looking at a picture that was on the night stand in that room, then nods, setting the picture on the bed, then follows Quinton out.

They walked passed the house that the other group was in, then Saige calls out to the other two in that house, letting them know that Devan's smaller group was moving on to the next house. "This gets boring after a while, don't ya' fellas think?" Wilson says with an accent. "It sure does. I should know, since I was the scout for the group." Quinton says as the three men made their way up the path of the next house. "There's two of 'em in there. See them through the window aw'ready." Wilson says as Devan got the door open. "Where are they? I'll go get them with Devan while you scout the rest of the house." Quinton says. "Right side." Wilson answers.

Devan takes his crowbar and throws it at the one in the room, knocking it over, still stuck in its head, while Quinton takes a knife to the other's. Devan retrieves his crowbar and sends it through the forehead of the one, killing it. "I need a breather, Quinton. Where I got stabbed is sore again, wonder why.." Devan says in between breaths. "Hey, just take it easy. Wilson and I will do the hard work from now on, alright?" Quinton offers. Devan nods and takes a final deep breath. "Alright, next we're going to the police station. Get the others in the house and meet me by the SUV." Devan says to Quinton and walks off.

Devan is leaning against the car and hears another vehicle. He gets off the car and looks from where he hears it. That's when he dove out of the way, after a head flew out of a truck flying by them. The head splattered onto the car, but it's still alive. It was a biter's severed head. "Hey! Get out here! We're under attack!" Devan says as he goes to take a shot at the truck with his pistol. He pulls the trigger but nothing happened, his gun was malfunctioning. He finaly gets it fixed and aims it back up, looking for the truck which has disappeared. Quinton and the rest of the group jogs out and runs over to Devan. "You alright? What's happening?" Guillermo asks, holding his baseball bat like was was about to beat down on some poor sucker.

"Zealots. I'm sure of it. They threw this severed biter head at me and drove off. I lost sight of them.." Devan says. Josie walks up to Devan and points out a blood stain forming in the middle of his chest.. "You're bleeding? Were you hit by anything?" Josie asks. "No.. I dove out of the way. I think my scar opened back up." Devan says. "Man, I told you to take it easy Devan!" Quinton says to Devan. "I thought I was being shot at? Do you expect me to just stand here?" Devan complains. "Sorry, just.. Try to take it easy at least." Quinton says. "Josie, you trained in my District right? Mind stitching this up when we get over ot the police station?" Devan respectively orders Josie. "Sure, not a problem. Let's head over there." Josie replies.
