I watched over the three as they moved closer to us. "You all better drop your weapons and start fixing that fence!" The girl said. "Listen, miss, go get your father and we'll work this out." I say to her, setting the rifle on the ground and raising my hands. "Oh.. You want my dad? Well let me go get his fucking corpse for you. He's dead, asshole." She says. "Listen, we need to get inside. There's a horde coming after us right now-" I start to say then was interrupted. "No, you're fixing my God damned fence. We'll hold off the horde." She says with a smirk.
"Thomas, I'll fix the fence. I'm sure you know nothing about that stuff?" Washington says quietly. I turn to him and nod. "I actually didn't know how to. Thanks, Washington." I reply. Washington and Craig then moves back and the guy with the crowbar heads out with them. "Alright, now all of us need to defend those three fixing the fence. Let's go out there now." I say and turn to where we had entered.
"I'm Fay, that's Kiki, and that fucknut over there is Devan. You know us, now who are you?" Fay says. "Those two that are fixing your fence back there are Craig and Washington. This is Sandra and Jess. And I'm Thomas, pleasure to meet you." I reply with a stern voice and offer a handshake. She looks at me and chuckles then just walks passed me, toward the three at the fence. I just look back at Jess and shake my head, then we all follow Fay and Kiki.
"I hope you're all are prepared. There's a lot of these things coming." Kiki says as she stepped over the destroyed fence and passed the car, as did we. Kiki then swings the pickaxe at one, ripping it out from the side of it's face. Since I didn't want to use up all of my bullets, I grabbed one of the metal fence posts and started swinging for the biters. Jess was swinging the pipe she still had at them, and Sandra was taking arrows, stabbing the biters heads and occasionally shooting some of them with the bow. Fay was behind the fence, standing on the car, and shooting them while Devan, Craig and Washington was cleaning up the fence debris and setting it up for rebuilding.
"Protect those three, there's going to be a lot of biters roaming around." Sandra says. The three, Devan, Craig, and Washington, are working hard and the rest were fighting off the horde. "Why are there so many?!" Jess yells. I grab Craig and push him over before one of the biters could have gotten him, then I push that one down and stomp on it's head until it stopped struggling. "Watch out, boy!" I yell to him, then swing around, hitting another biter in the side of the head.
I look back, seeing a few biters coming from in front of the house. "We've got some behind us!" I call out. Fay and I turn around and start killing those ones. Fay starts mumbling and then she hears clicks, which leads her to run off. I watch her run into the back of the house. A few minutes later, she came out with three other guns and she was shooting her way out. "I'm ganna go follow Fay, she seems as if she needs help!" I call out to the others.
Fay runs to the side of the house and I follow, covering her. I don't even know if she was aware of me defending her. Fay then stops to shoot three more, when one comes from the side of her and pins her to a car. My eyes widen and I run over to her. I take the metal fence post and ram the end of it into the side of it's head. "Thomas, what the fuck is your problem!? Get out of here!" Fay yells and pushes me, then raises her gun at me. "You brought all of those things here!" She yells. We stood there for a few moments and then she lowers her gun and quickly gets in the car. "Fay! Wait!" I yell and pound the window. She ignores me and begins to drive out of the fence.
I watched Fay reach the road, I didn't bother to chase after her. I stood there and watched. She goes to turn left then a large delivery truck slammed into her. I quickly scanned the area around me for biters and I hid behind Fay's trashcans and watched as three people got out of the truck as another delivery truck pulled up. One of the men held a gun to the other two people as they carried Fay from the car. She was unconscious. They carried her limp body into the front seat and then they backed up one of the trucks to the driveway and moved to the back.
I backed up to the back of the house, in case they saw me, and I watched them. What could they be doing? That's when they opened the back of the delivery truck, releasing about 15 more biters. "Are they insane?" I thought to myself. I then ran back to the others. Seemed as if they had things cleared up back here, at least until those ones that group just released caught up. "Everyone, we have to go! There's a group releasing these things on the property!" I warn them. Devan turns to me. "What about the fence? And Fay? What happened to her?" He questions. "Forget the fence.. And they.. Grabbed Fay. There's no way we can get her. We need to move, now!" I demand.
They all nod and Washington gets into the car, trying to start it up. "Looks like we're going to be moving on foot.." He says. We then start heading east, towards the city. "You sure there's no possible way we can get Fay?" Kiki asks. I look to her and sigh. "There's just too many of those people.. And I think they're collecting slaves or something. I'm not sure.." I reply.
Craig and Washington were a little ways ahead of us, seems like they're working things out. Sandra and Jess were starting to get to know each other, those two were behind quite a bit. Devan, Kiki and I were all walking together. Looks like everyone's getting to know each other, which is just what we needed, some peace. Though, the suspense was killing me. What was that group all about? Why did they take Fay? Why did they release the biters on us? And us only? Doesn't matter right now.. We just need to find shelter before the sun sets.
