„Thank you for everything."
______Tony and Peter were at the Stark tower. While the billionaire asked questions about MJ, Peter rolled his eyes in annoyance. „Now, tell me who this girl is?", he said and took a bite from his red apple. He stared at the blushing boy in front of him. A smirk grew on the mans face. "What is she for you? A friend? Love interest? Your crush?", Peter blushed more, trying to hide his embarrassment. "Mr. Stark, she's just friend.", he said. But was she a friend. She did say that her friends call her MJ but were they friends. Or did she just say that, so no one of the whole decathlon team need to call her Michelle anymore.
"If you need any help, talking to girls, you can always come to me.", Tony said, making the boy blush more. "Mr. Stark, I think I'm good.", Peter answered. "You know, that's the second time, you say ‚no' to me.", Tony recalled the last time, when he asked the kid to join the avengers. "I know, but you said yourself that the first time was a test. It was a test, right? Cause sometimes it feels like you meant it, Mr. Stark.", Peter looked at him, expecting the answer he wanted. He would punch himself, if that wasn't a test. "Yeah, it was a test.", the adult lied again.
They continued walking towards the meeting room. The billionaire laid one arm across Peter's shoulders, having a side hug with him. "Pete, I'm having a meeting in five minutes, you want to join?", he asked. Peter nodded excitedly. When they entered the room, Peter sat down next to Tony. They were alone in the big room. "Mr. Stark, thank you.", Peter broke the comfortable silence between them, looking to Tony. He rose a brow and had a confusing look on his face. "Thank you for everything. For the suit and the chance to work with you.", Peter explained, smiling. Tony also smiled, seeing how his action affected the kid in a good way.
The door opened and Pepper entered the room, followed by many people with cameras and phones. She greeted Peter with a warm smile. Tony said that this was a meeting, but he didn't tell the kid that this wasn't for the Stark industry. This meeting was for the news. About his actions as Ironman and the avengers. As everyone took a seat, they took out their microphones and stared at the billionaire. Peter watched everyone while Pepper started talking. He saw many young and old people sitting in groups. There was a woman with blond hair, and blue eyes who looked at him. She tapped on her cameraman's shoulder to tell him that he should take a picture of him and Tony.
When the journalists were allowed to ask questions, many of the raised their hands. "Hello, I'm Cathrine Charles from the Daily Bugle. Who is that kid next to you, Mr. Stark?", the blond woman from before asked. Tony smiled at that question. "That, dear Cathrine, is my intern Peter Parker.", "How old is he? He looks like twelve.", a man with short brown hair and green eyes asked. "He's 14...","No, I'm going to be 16 in two weeks.", Peter said, glaring at Tony. The billionaire always says he's 14, even though he knows that he's not. Tony smiled and ruffled his hair. The man with the short brown hair, wrote everything down.
Many questions about Peter were asked, even though it should be about Ironman and The Avengers. "Mr. Stark, I'm John J Jackson, from the Daily Bugle. Do you know who that Spider-Boy is?", Peter's eyes widened. How did no one know his name? "It's Spider-Man.", Peter said, taking again everyone's attention. "Wait, my son, said that you knew him. Is that true?", a different man said. "Who is your son?", Peter asked, not answering the question. "Eugen Thompson. If I'm right, he must be with you on the decathlon team.", Peter nodded, of course he knew his bully, even though it was just name calling. Flash never punched him or fought with Peter. "No, I don't know Spider-Man personally, my friend just told everyone that I knew him, even though he only saved my life a few times.", Peter said, interrupting Tony, before he could even add something to the subject.
After the interview, Peter stayed with Tony at the Tower. Some of the journalists wanted to have a private interview with Peter, but he rejected them politely. He didn't want to talk to much, scared to let something slip. Tony stared at the kid in disbelief. "Peter, next time you stay quiet. Do you understand?", "There's going to be a next time?", Peter said annoyed. He found out that he wasn't a fan of those kinds of interviews. Tony shook his head. "No, if you don't want to go, it's okay. I just thought, that you wanted to see it now, instead of reading it in the news paper or watching it on the news. Peter nodded, understandingly.
"Hey Peter.", Aunt May was in the kitchen, cooking something for supper. Her brown hair was short now. "You cut your hair.", Peter said when he noticed it. "Yeah, I felt like I need to change something. Do you like it?", she asked turning to him. "Yeah, I like it. Reminds me of your wedding day, Aunt May.", Peter said, sitting down. The wedding of May and Ben wasn't big, it was more like a little party between the family and a few friends. Peter was 5 when the married and it was one of the best days of his whole life. The wedding was five months before his parents died. He remembered everything. His mother had a blue dress on and her hair was lose with locks. His dad wore a tuxedo with a matching shirt. And that was Peters first time, putting some gel on his hair. He also wore the same tuxedo like his father. Ben was very nervous when he saw the bride coming. Their vows were beautiful, even though Peter couldn't remember those. But he knew that they were perfect.
Peter smiled at his aunt. "You look pretty, Aunt May.", he said. May stopped cooking and went to Peter to hug him tight. "I hope you'll never change. You remind me a lot of Ben. You know.", she said, wiping away the tears. "Aunt May, please don't cry. I don't like seeing you cry.", Peter said, giving her a paper towel to wipe her tears on it. "He's in a better place now, and my parents are too. We see them anytime soon.", Peter said, hugging her tighter. The two Parker's remind in this position. "Uh, Aunt May. Something's smelling odd.", "No, nononono, the food.", she said pulling away and running to the cooking plate. "I guess we need to order food. What do you want?".
