Following after Loki, Eir remained quiet as her brothers and their friends made their way back to the place they had initially been in the garden. She could not see what was the problem with their situation, they, however, could see something that was terribly wrong.

"We had left our weapons here!" Volstagg exclaimed as he pointed at a spot on the ground. "Now they are gone!"

"That's a most interesting observation," Loki nodded.

"Don't play clueless!" Fandral scoffed, "We know you took them!"

"Your lack of trust in me is dissapointing," he mumbled as he placed a hand on Eir's shoulder and gently pushed her forward. "If you don't believe me, at least believe her. We were together from the start."

"From the start, you say?" Cuyler smirked, "Might I just ask what you did together?"

"Cuyler," Brandt hissed as his sister's cheeks flushed. Loki, however, seemed all too pleased as he glanced between Eir next to him and her two brothers.

"We were just talking," he informed him before turning to her, "Weren't we, love?"

"Loki, that's enough," Thor cut in, even if there was a small smile on his lips. "Let us go search for your weapons, my friends."

He marched forward, and Sif was quick to follow after him. The three warriors followed as well, Cuyler with them. Brandt shot a last look at his sister and Loki before turning to the others. As soon as they were some feet away, the Prince let his hand fall from her shoulder as he briefly looked down at her.

"I hope you did not get flustered."

"I.." Eir's voice trailed off as she looked away from the Prince. He waited for her to say something, but it came out that she had nothing really to answer him. He watched, amused as she followed after the rest, her head slightly bowed.

With some quick strides, he reached her side once again. "I assure you, it had not been my intention to upset you."

"I'm fine," she muttered, "I guess my brother's question affected me."

"Do not concern yourself with such petty matters," he said, and as she turned to him, he offered her a smile. "Cuyler wishes to tease others."

"So do you."

"Do you think I would make fun of you?"

"You've already done so once today," she pointed out, "remember the incident in the library?"

"That was merely a joke," he insisted, "you played along remarkably well."

"I hadn't been playing along-"

"I'm aware, I'm just trying to make you feel better about it."

A small smile formed on her lips as she shook her head at him. "If you say so. Where do you think their weapons might be?"

"I do not have a clue," he shook his head, "I was with you, remember?"

"I am not sure if you really were with me," she muttered as she looked over at him, the smile returning to her lips. "What if it's not you that's walking next to me but merely an illusion? How can I be sure?"

"I guess you can't," he shrugged, "is my word not enough for you?"

"Of course I trust you," she replied, her eyes wide as she looked over at him. "Why would I not?"

A smirk formed on his lips as he looked down at her, an eyebrow raised. "I tricked you into believing I was injured."

"Well," she looked at the ground, "at least you admit you did it."
