: Ready for Him

As the clock neared 7pm which was the time of the dinner, Kylie's time had come. She was literally like a proud parents getting their child ready for their first play at school. As i was sat down on the seat, bright white lights turned on in front of me so that the makeup artist could do a better job at doing my makeup. My hair had just been out in to two of those little roller things as the stylist said that she'd prefer my hair to be wavy with the outfit she had picked for me. Honestly, I was just going with the flow and letting Kylie do whatever she wanted because she was clearly enjoying it.

"You have a awesome face for foundation... have you ever considered doing skin commercials?" Ariel, the makeup artist asked me making me look up at him as he continued doing my base.

"Thank you... but commercials aren't really my thing, I'm too awkward" I said making him laugh, little did he know I was being 100% truthful.

"Well you should really consider it, this base is just gliding on your skin so well I'm in awe" he stated making me laugh as I could see Kylie rolling her eyes in the back. She told me that although she loved Ariel due to how well he did her makeup, he was very over confident and said literally anything he was thinking which I could tell she did not like and so now, every time he spoke, she literally looked like she could strangle him.

"Are we going glam? Or?" He asked as he set my face.

I glanced over at Kylie, expecting her to reply, "Glam is a little too much for tonight so do a lotta neutrals on her eyes... whatever you think is best" she answered as she typed away on her phone.

As he continued to do my makeup and Kylie went to speak to the rest of the team who were specifically here just for me, Ariel began speaking.

"So how do you know Kylie? I've never really seen you around her" he said.

"We knew each other in school but we kinda stopped talking, we've only recently gotten back in touch with one another" I explained.

"I'm surprised she hasn't made you run away yet with her awful singing" He commented making me laugh, that wasn't a lie, Kylie had a horrible voice yet she sang like she was Madonna.

"Are your boobs real?"

I was shocked at his sudden outburst and I could tell he saw my reaction as he chuckled, "Sorry it's just that a lot of the girls I have worked with have all told me about how much they spent on their boob job and yours look no where near fake so I was just wondering well, how?" I didn't know if I should take that as a compliment but I kinda just went along with it.

"My boobs are real" I laughed making him stop looking down at me, "You're kidding!" He exclaimed.

"I'm not" I laughed aloud at how shocked he looked, maybe he just hadn't worked with a lot of girls who hadn't had their boobs done and so that's why he was so shocked but I couldn't help but laugh.

"Justin is one lucky guy" He grinned wiggling his eyebrows before going back to doing my makeup as if he hadn't said that at all. It was funny because Justin and I hadn't made anything official and people already assumed things like Ariel had.

I guess that's just what this industry was all about.

Finally once Ariel had done my makeup and the hair stylist did my hair, Victoria, who was Kylie's personal assistant and someone who was like a close friend to her as well called me over to where they had racks of clothes all out for me to choose from. Well actually, the stylist would pick but I got to have a little say in things. Although this was very new to me as I rarely got a stylist as I rarely got invited to events apart from when I was with my dad and that was when I had my own stylist to as it would only make sense as my dad was all about that industry. But other than that, I was perfectly capable of styling myself whenever I went out with my mom to a fancy dinner or to a fashion show or whatever, I was a shopaholic so it was no big deal for me.

And so as they all stood around discussing clothing like my life depended on it, I couldn't help but feel a little nervous. I mean you'd think I was used to these kinda gatherings by now as I did attend events that consisted of celebrities too because of my dad and my brand and whatever however, when it's with Justin Bieber, with his close friends and other big celebrities, it was a little more nerve racking as it included communicating. At events I just stayed in the corner and followed my dad's lead however, this meant actually speaking otherwise I'd look rude next to Justin which is not what I wanted.

Finally, once we picked an outfit for me and after trying so many outfits on which I simp didn't agree with as they either looked like I was going to a club or they just didn't look like a ME outfit at all with like purple thigh high boots like Kylie would wear, we finally found a outfit that we all agreed on.

Although it seemed basic, it was the simplest that got the most recognition. And I wasn't here to impress anyone but Justin.

I wore a black body-con Céline dress which had spaghetti straps followed by a deep cut out along the back. It fell down to my knees but held a slit on the right side of my leg. To match, I wore a pair of black Valentino heels which buckled around my ankle. Although it was simple, it was elegant and totally appropriate for the night. I just hoped Justin liked it too, and as weird as that may sound as everyone always says you should dress for yourself. And of course, I did but when you have a significant other, everything turns in to being about them.
