(I've been undergoing some change in style with my writing due to certain very helpful exercises ehehe so let me know if you see any difference xD You probably won't :P)

The trees are bare of their leaves and everyone's breath is billowing up in clouds of mist, the year is coming to a close.

"I can't believe we're going to be second years soon." I said shivering slightly as a cold gust of wind blew into our faces, buffeting the hair that wasn't already tucked into my hat, out of my face.

"Yeah, I know right." Sun-hee agreed, gripping her signs with her hands in a vain effort to keep more warmth inside her body. Bundled up in hats, jackets, scarves and gloves, the two of us waddled down the pavement like a pair of Eskimos. "I still can't believe you broke up with Ji hun though, I mean it seemed like it was going so well." She said after a moments pause in which our noses felt like they were about to drop off.

"Honestly, I feel like it was kind of time it happened." I said and chuckled a bit at her shocked expression.

"For real? Usually people are head over heals in love for their first boyfriend or girlfriend." She watched me as we continued to walk waiting for my answer as if it were some juicy fruit that would explode to satisfy all her gossiping needs.

"Well, I never felt that way for Ji hun so it didn't hurt too much. I just liked being friends which makes me kind of sad that he doesn't want to be friends now." I replied and stuffed my hands into my jacket pockets.

"Who would?" Snorted Sun-hee. We continued on the road, now talking about Sun-hee's boyfriend who was apparently annoying her to a great extent. A bell went off as we entered the convenience store, letting out a couple grateful grunts as a wave of warmth overcame us.

"Thank goodness." I said while grinning. "It's warm!"

"Thank goodness indeed." Sun-hee giggled. We snatched up a shopping basket and walked through the many aisles.

"Ooh, I think we need this." Sun-hee grabbed a couple boxes of pocky and beamed at me. "This is going to be so much fun!" She giggled.

The two of us were having a sleepover at my house and we had decided that it would be a 'good idea' if we got a couple mountains of trashy food to keep us going through the night.

"So are you still fighting with Jihoon?" I asked as we exited the store, nodding goodbye to the staff behind the counter. We each held a plastic bag filled with food.

"No way, we made up right after the argument but still I'm allowed to complain right?" She laughed.

"Ya nasty." I snorted in response.

"Anyway," She chuckled. "He wants to facetime tonight so is that okay?"

"Sure, if I get bored third-wheeling I'll just talk to someone else on my phone." I said, I wasn't being sarcastic or anything.

"I won't be talking all night." She protested while laughing. We arrived back at my house and started unpacking the food and setting up the lounge for our all-nighter, we were probably going to fall asleep on the second movie though (Me). After dinner I ran upstairs to grab my horror movie stash and then returned with an excited squeal. Sun-hee's and my own excitement had seemed to multiply with each passing minute the way it did when you could sense you were in for a fun sleepover.

"This is going to be so good!" I said leaping onto the sofa dramatically.

"You bet it is." She said with equal enthusiasm.

"Alright so I'm thinking 'Is' or 'The Smudge'." I mused, picking up the movies as I mentioned their names (Yes, they are using discs and dvd players if you don't know what they are go look it up xD Also if you didn't get the joke about the horror movie names they are supposed to be a play on 'It' and 'The Grudge', just thought I'd clear that up before questions were raised about those daft names x3).
