(Hello my dudes! WE ARE SO CLOSE. I've decided this will be the last chapter and that the 30th one with just be the outro for all the things I wish to say xD So hope you enjoy this... It's probably going to be super lame T^T)

"It's a pity Jae left just as we were starting to get along," I chortled.

"Yeah," Jungkook agreed, wiping some sweat off his face with his sleeve. "My it's getting hot."

"That's an understatement," I snorted. It was the first day of the summer holidays and it was stifling hot. I fanned myself with a paper fan, trying not to sweat. Jae had left for her home only yesterday which left a lot more time for Jungkook and me to hang out. He had amused me this morning by exclaiming as soon as he laid his eyes on me;

"Thank goodness you're here! I'm starved of your company."

"Oh by the way," Jungkook begun casually. "My family and I are going to a holiday house out in the forest and err..." Jungkook coughed as if nervous. "I'm allowed to take someone along and I was hoping you'd like to come." I looked at him, surprised.

"You want me to come?" I asked.

"Who else?" He countered with a sheepish smile.

"I'd love to." I smiled back at him warmly. "I'll have to ask mum and dad and I believe they can be persuaded." Jungkook lit up.

"You really think they'll allow you to come?" He beamed.

"I don't think mum will be overly bothered. Dad will take a little pushing but he'll probably agree. They'll just say stuff like 'Don't do anything you know we wouldn't be pleased with." I snorted. "And I'm pretty sure your parents aren't going to agree with that either." We both laughed.

Once home, I had gone straight to mum and dad to talk about the holiday. Mum agreed rather quickly, which caught me off guard, but my dad to a little more persuasion. He eventually agreed. I packed my bags, knowing that I would leave the day after tomorrow. Once all of the necessities had been taken care of, I leaped onto my bed and nestled into the thick duvet. I felt restless and excited. As the hours dragged on my excitement grew. I must of fallen asleep eventually as I woke up the next morning, somehow upside down on my bed. I was on my stomach, my pillow was lying half on top of my legs which were man-spreading to the point where my left foot hung in the air over the side of the bed. I slid out of the covers and fixed myself up. Today was going to be painful. I would have to wait for hours on end before tomorrow would come and I would be setting off on the trip with Jungkook and his family. Seconds felt like minutes, minutes felt like hours and hours felt like decades. I glanced up at the clock impatiently. It read 11:31 AM. I blinked.

"It's not even lunchtime yet!" I wailed. I buried my face in one of the sofa cushions and groaned loudly.

"What's wrong with you?" Dad asked, wandering in whilst holding a croissant and a butter knife.

"Nothing much." I replied, my face still smothered by the cushion.

"I know this trip was a bad idea," dad said pompously. "I knew you'd get anxiety and lookie here! I was right. It's fine you don't have to go on that trip," he said squeezing my shoulder. I felt the hard handle of the butter knife also pressing against my shoulder, it was still in his hand.

"Dad," I cried, jerking away. "that's dangerous." I pointed at the knife. He glanced down uninterested.

"Nah, it's blunt," he said and pressed his index finger against the blade. "All it could do is poke your eye out," he laughed then trotted away, back into the kitchen I guessed. I stood up and decided to do something with my life for the rest of the day.
