Jacob Pov
It was Wednesday already. Just two more days before prom and I'm nervous. Chresanto has been avoiding Ray since Monday and Ray feels a little guilty for what he did. He apologize on several occasions but Chres would just ignore him. Craig thought it was funny and thought Chres deserve it.
Just three days into the week and it's already stressful.
Today though me and Chres are going shopping for our tux. He said we had to look good because this is our last year in high school. I totally agreed since that is technically true and it's my first prom every. Yay!
"You ready to go?" Chres asked me after I shut my locker.
"Yeah lets go."
We walk out side and hopped in his car before heading to the 'Tux For Men'. It didn't take us long to arrive and head inside the store.
"Good afternoon youngster, how can I help you?"
I turned and seen a middle age men smiling softly at us. Chres told the men that we are looking for prom suits and was wondering if they had any shade of blue and black tux.
"Yes sir. Follow me."
He lead us to the back section of the store and showed us different kinds of suits. I really like the one that had the nice charcoal black suit pants that look like skinny jeans kinda. I ask Chres his opinion and he told me it was cute for me. I blush and took it off the rack.
Chres looked around and chose something simply. It was black slacks with a jacket and a nice button up shirt that was a nice shade of dark blue.
"I thought we where getting royal blue?" I asked confused.
"Eh. I like this blue better. Is that okay?" He smiled softly at me.
I nodded my head and grabbed the same shirt. I wasn't going to get a jacket. I didn't like it, but instead I grabbed a black bow tie. I showed Chres my outfit and he told me it was cute and couldn't wait to see me in it.
That had me blushing a nice shade of red. We walked over to the shoe section and looked at the different types.
"These aren't really my style. They're too formal." I said.
He nodded his head in agreement and said we can done our own shoes later. We paid for the cloths and went next door to grab something to eat. We talked about our future together and how he won't let what happen with Krista, ever happen again.
"So Jacob.. I was wonder if I could ask you something."
I looked at him and nodded my head. He sigh and rubbed his hands together and bit his bottom lip. I grabbed his hands and gently entwined them with mine. I smiled at him and told him it was okay, and to ask me whatever he wanted.
"Okay... Jacob would you like to be my official boyfriend?"
I choked on my spit for a second and coughed a little before looking at him. He looked worried and asked if I was okay. I nodded my head and waves him off.
"Are you forreal?" I asked happily.
He nodded his head and smiled. I could feel the tears gathering in my eyes. My face felt hot and my eyes were getting watery. I fanned my face as the tears started falling.
"Ja-Jacob... What's wrong?" Chres asked me.
"Sorry. I'm just being over dramatic. But yes I'll be your boyfriend." I said as I wiped my tears away. "I'm just so exited. Your my first boyfriend."
He open his arms and I got out of my chair and ran into them. He rocked us side to side and softly kissed my forehead.
"I love you baby boy." He mumbled.
"I love you to Chressy."
