The drive from San Pablo Airport to a manor that was outside of the city of Valencina de la Concepción took around twenty-five minutes; Eliza didn't know what it was but she was glad that she was traveling with Evan and not her parents, who had been put into the second car.

Jorge helped Eliza out of the Jaguar XF before he moved to collect her and Evan’s suitcase, the blonde swallowed as she looked at the manor; she had a feeling that something wasn’t right here.

A man with grey hair wearing a suit stepped out of the house, he smiled as he walked down the steps and stopped at the bottom; Evan glanced at his sister, as they both watched their parents tense.

“Welcome to Ramos Manor… I trust you had a good flight. I am Edward Robinson,” the man said as he introduced himself, Eliza elbowed her brother before he could make fun of the man causing Evan to glare at her.

Edward turned his attention straight to Eliza, his eyes meeting with Jorge’s briefly before the other man herded Tanya and Brendan away and took the suitcases inside.

“Where are Mare and Pare going?” Evan asked suddenly nervous, there was something going on and they were being kept in the dark about it; Edward flashed the two a warm smile as he wondered how the Lord of the Manor would take to what was being offered to him.

“They have a meeting to attend to… why don’t I give you both a tour of the manor,” Edward said in hopes of distracting the two, he knew that they weren’t stupid and that their parents’ stiff and strange behaviour worried them but the truth would be revealed in time.

After the tour of the manor, Evan was shown to his room for the remained of his stay before Eliza was shown to hers; Edward flashed her a reassuring smile as he lead her for the corridor where her parents and brother would be staying.

“This is your room Madam…” the grey haired man said as he stopped outside of a room, Eliza bit her lip as she nodded and Edward handed her a key after he had unlocked the door for her.

The blonde looked at him confused as he allowed her inside, her suitcase was already there and there was a woman unpacking her things for her.

“I would like to introduce Natasha, Madam… she is your maidservant,” Edward said making Eliza stare at him, she knew that her brother hadn’t been given anyone like this and she doubted that her parents had; for some reason they feared everyone here.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you milady,” Natasha greeted as she courtesy to Eliza, the blonde looked at her confused wondering what was going on before her mother nervously entered the room.

Edward cleared this throat as he signalled for Natasha to leave the two of them alone; Tanya quickly moved to check that Eliza was presentable.

“Mare… what is going on?” Eliza said as she stopped her mother from messing up her hair, she didn't know what it was but she felt like she was being lied to. Tanya bit her lip as tears filled her eyes.

“We didn't have any choice… your Pare has done something terrible and this was the only way,” the brunette said sadly making Eliza move to sit on the bed, she stared at her mother as a horrible feeling started to consume her.

Tanya wiped away a couple of her tears as she stared at her only daughter.

“Your Pare upset the local chief werewolf when he was in Madrid,” Tanya revealed making Eliza pale as she stared at her. The blonde knew that whatever her father had done must have been bad, and if it was then there could be trouble;

“The chief werewolf… he said that your Pare had to die… he begged and he begged until he broke and offered him you,” Tanya said making Eliza stare at her mother as if she had gone mad; she wondered what her father could have possibly done to cause a werewolf to sentence him as such.

“He’s going to kill me instead?” Eliza said as the colour drained from her face, she couldn't believe that her father would do such a thing.

Her mother shook her head as she sat down next to her daughter, she knew that this wasn’t easy for her but they didn't have a choice.

“At first your Pare offered you as a servant… to work off his debt to the werewolf but once he had seen your picture, he refused. Instead he offered your Pare a deal… your brother would work in his ranks to pay off the debt and he’d take you as his mate,” Tanya revealed making Eliza suddenly feel sick.

The blonde stared at her mother wondering if she had heard her right, to save his life; her father had traded in both of his children without even telling them until it was too late.

“Why didn't he talk with Lord Calvin? Surely he could have helped,” Eliza asked as she tried to keep herself calm, she felt nothing but anger and sadness and she wasn’t sure which one to feel.

Tanya looked down at her hands, she knew that her daughter was hurt but they had no other choose.

“He couldn't have helped… they tend not to interfere with one another’s business,” the brunette said bitterly before Brendan stepped into the room; he glanced at Eliza before he looked at his wife.

“He wishes to meet her,” he said making his daughter glare at him, she didn't like how he had ignored her and spoke to her mother directly as if she wasn’t there.

After her mother had fussed over her for a few moments, Eliza found herself standing outside of an office with her father; she hadn’t spoken a word to him and she knew that he was upset about it.

“Eliza… I’m sorry,” Brendan said making his daughter glance at him before he sighed and knocked on the door, he waited a moment before he stepped inside and signalled for her to follow him.

Stepping into the office, Eliza licked her lips nervously as she smoothed out her red sequin panel bodycon dress, she didn't know what it was but she felt like she had to make a good impression.

“Lord Ramos, this is my daughter Eliza,” Brendan said as he bowed his head in respect for the Andalusian werewolf, who stopped what he was doing.

Eliza ducked her head slightly in respect as her father was dismissed; she frowned as she watched him eagerly leave the room before the werewolf approached her.

He carefully tilted her chin up so that he could see her eyes with his right hand revealing to the blonde the family tattoo around his wrist; his brown eyes met hers making Eliza swallow nervously.

“There is no need for you to be nervous Eliza… you haven’t done anything wrong,” Lord Ramos murmured, he stepped closer to her and putting a hand on her arm to stop her from moving away.

“You understand why you are here?” he asked making Eliza nod making him smirk as he cupped her face with his left hand leaving her breathless, she had never felt like this before.

“Bueno…” he whispered as he claimed the blonde’s lips with his own. As he deepened the kiss, Eliza felt a faint connection build within her as he claimed her, she didn't know what it was but she knew that there was no going back.
