"If only mom didn't sacrifice herself for me... she would still be here."

"She only did it because she loves you Persia, remember that."

Persia nodded quietly as she turned her head to look out the window. Its been three years since that fateful rescue mission, sure it worked but at what cause? One person was saved while another was lost...

Chris was quiet as well, probably monologuing to somebody. It was hard to read his expression now a days, and she couldn't blame him. The car drive as silent and the two got out. Chris didn't tell her what he needed from the back of the car but she was curious as she tried to look over his shoulder.

"Damn it, I'm still too short. I can't even make it to his shoulder...."

"Well that's-"

"Welcome to Africa."

Persia was the first to turn. A woman, likely in her twenties her hair was in a ponytail, she had a purple shirt and tan pants on with brown boots. She quickly sent a smile their way.

"My name is Sheva Alomar."

"Chris Redfield."

"Persia Lynx."

Placing her hand back to her side Sheva sent another their way. "Your reputation proceeds you Mr. Redfield, Miss Lynx. It is an honor."

"Just Chris."

"Just Persia thanks."

So, you'll be accompanying us to the destination?" Chris questioned and Sheva quickly answered. "Yes. Tensions have been running high ever since the change in government."

"And they won't be happy to see two Americans. BSAA or not. That's why I'm your partner, help put them at ease." Chris nodded. "I'm sure you'll do just fine..."

"Partner... what a wonderful choice of words Sheva."

Confused as to why Perisa and Chris were not behind her she turned around. "You two okay?" Both their heads snapped up and they nodded without needing any words.

There was one person listening on their conversation with curious eyes. That one person was a woman dressed with a long black jacket, a short black dress underneath and grey boots with heels. She tilted her head as she watched the three pass her without a second glance.

She wondered if she could stop their mission now and their plan would be safe to go ahead with. She knew that their mission was to capture Ricardo Irving and he isn't really important to the plans.

The woman was quickly snapped out of her thoughts as the giant metal doors closed behind the trio. She smiled to herself, their mission was just beginning meaning that it was the start of her mission as well.
