Me and Alex walked hand in hand with our suitcases rattling loudly behind us. He had on a big navy coat along with his skinny jeans and, only because I thought he would look cute in them, my pair of black converses. I was surprised he fit into them since I was a few inches shorter but it seemed that luckily we had the same shoe sizes.
I wore a pair of black and white vans, black miniskirt and a black coat. Admittedly, my legs were freezing, but the outfit matched and looked good so I guess I had to make a sacrifice.
Me and Alex were on our way to the train station. It had been a magical weekend in London but soon we were going to be on our way back to Sheffield. It was currently dark as we entered the building of Alexandra Palace train station.
We spent yesterday going around the entirety of London... after we had recovered from what we did in the morning of course.
We took a very expensive cab ride down to Camden Town which we went halves on. We had a brilliant time going around various different parks along with visiting the zoo which Alex loved. I could barely pull him out when we had seen everything.
"No Lottie pleeeeeease can I see the meerkats again? We don't have to go yet?" Alex whined as he tugged at the sleeve of my coat, trying to pull me away from the exit. Of course I let him see the meerkats again.
We also went to the house I grew up in and sat on the steps leading up to the front door as we talked. Alex kept asking to tell him stories of when I was younger but every time I answered another question, he'd find a question in the answer that he wanted to know the answer to.
"So sometimes I would sit here early in the morning on weekends. I'd make myself some hot chocolate and sit here in a jumper as I watched everyone go about their business."
"Where'd the hot chocolate come from?"
"Me and my dad both loved hot chocolate so he'd always buy some. We never ran out."
"Where'd you buy the hot chocolate? Is there a local shop?"
"Yeah we'd just go to a Tesco a few minutes away. It's closed now though I think."
"Would the people in the Tesco recognise you both since you were such frequent customers?"
I smiled at the recent memory as I sat down on the train. We still had half an hour before the departure but this was better than waiting out in the cold.
We spent today packing everything away so we were free for a few hours. We took a bus up to the Houses of Parliament and visited the London Aquarium, walking hand in hand the entire time - until we entered the shark room and Alex sprinted to the glass, gazing up at the majestic fish.
I now had my head lent against the window of the train which acted like a mirror due to the dark surroundings.
I watched the sleeping boy in front of me. His rising and falling chest as he breathed silently. His face with a small, absent smile etched onto his features. The slight, almost invisible stubble on his chin from not shaving since we had left.
I smiled to myself and closed my eyes as well, hoping to get some sleep before we arrived back in Sheffield.

Hi guys.I hope you're enjoying The Library because I sure am enjoying writing it up until now. However, I'm a bit stuck for ideas. I know where I want this story to end and how the (potential) sequel will go but I just don't know how to get there. I'd love to hear any feedback that you have! I love reading your comments.
See you soon x
