"Auntie, will you stay?"a half asleep Elise mumbles, and I smile, yawning a bit.

"Sure Baby Doll, Auntie needs a Nap Anyways."I crawl into the full sized bed, and the two of us slowly drift off.

"Mae.."My brothers voice brings me out of my sleep, and my eyes slowly open to find bright sunlight coming through the window.

"What Time is it?"I mumble, rubbing my eyes, and Jason chuckles.

"It's the next morning, and it's ten in the morning, mom wanted me to wake you up."Jason sits on the edge of the bed, and I find Elise's spot empty..

"Sorry, just a bunch of shit's going ok at the moment and I haven't slept good."I apologize, but Jason waves me off.

"It's fine Car, mom knew that, that's why she didn't wake you yesterday."He helps me up out of bed, and I thank him.

"Where's Elise?"I Ask, as we walk out of my old bedroom, and up the stairs.

"Watching Tv in her PJ's still."He laughs, and I just shake my head, "Your phone was ringing a couple times last night, the contact was BG."

"Ah, i'll tell you when moms out of hearing range to tell you who it is." Jason raises an eyebrow at me, as we walk into the kitchen.

"Morning Mama."I kiss her cheek, and she smiles as I grab an apple from the fruit bowl, sitting at the kitchen island.

"Morning Baby Girl."She Greets me, And I find her making Bacon.

"Mamas famous bacon?"I question, and she hums in response.

"Yes it is."She smiles, "now I have a question for you Carter."

"Ask away."I bite into the apple.

"What Time did you even go to bed on Tuesday?"She Asks And I shake my head.

"I didn't, at least not until me and Elise had that nap yesterday, at least her nap."I Explain And mama gives me a stern look.

"You've gotta stop staying up late Carter, it's starting to show, and it's taking a toll on you."She scolds, And I sigh nodding, because I know she's right.

"As a song in my last album said, I've gotta quit bummin' cigarettes from the wrong guys."I quote, and Mama chuckles.

"Speaking of guys."She starts, "Who's BG?"

"I-I.."I stammer, And she raises an eyebrow, "Your going to freak out if I tell you."

"I promise you Carter I won't."She promises, and I nod slowly.

"It's Brantley Gilbert,"Her Eyes grow wide, "I met him at the CMA's."

"He better be a nice boy to my child or I'll beat his ass."She threatens, and I laugh.

"Were nothing more than friends mama."I smile and she shakes her head.

"For now."She mutters And my mouth goes wide.

"Mama!"I exclaim and I head Jason laugh in the living room.

"I want another grand child!"She holds her hands up in surrender, and I sigh, shaking my head.

"Dear lord help me."I shake my head and mama laughs.

"Your 27 Carter, Your not getting any younger."Jason's booming laughs come from the living room once more.

"Your fifty-five, your not getting any younger."
