Looking at the gigantic ledge in front of them, Y/n breathed out before she began to climb it. This really wasn't what she had in mind when they were finally able to go to the Kunugigaoka resort.
From below she could hear Karasuma say something as he stood there head bent down towards the floor.
"Nagisa, Y/n... I'm sorry, but..." He began and was cut off by Isogai.
"If the ledge is the problem then that's a piece of cake." He said as he made his way up it, followed by the others.
"Yeah, especially compared to our usual training," Rinka said while she climbed past Terasaka.
"But we haven't practiced fighting an unknown foe in an unknown hotel, so Karasuma-sensei. It won't be easy, but could you be our commander?" Isogai asked as Y/n only looked at her teacher's flabbergasted face.
'It's not exactly something that you're supposed to have any experience with... but oh well. I guess this is our lives now.' She thought, looking up at her classmates climbing.
"We'll make that jerk pay for messing with us!" Terasaka shouted out in anger.
"I'm sure you know by now that we're not your everyday ordinary students. So we'll act as your sixteen-member special force unit, commander Karasuma." Y/n said, almost feeling proud when she saw a small smile tug at her teacher's lips.
"Wery well..." He said before he began to issue out commands.
"Attention! Our objective is the top fool of the hotel at the summit! Our mission will shift from a stealth infiltration to a surprise attack. We'll use the same hand signals and linkups from training! The only difference is our target! You have three minutes to memorize the map! We begin at 21:50!"
"Don't fall behind!" Okano said as she climbed up the ledge at high speed.
"She sure can move," Justice said using one arm to scratch his back head.
"Yeah, she got us beat in this type of thing," Isogai commented as he now was on the same level as Justice.
"Karma-kun, wait!" Nagisa said as Karma stopped climbing for a second before he spoke.
"I'd like to, but we're kind of on a schedule here." He said, and beside him, Y/n climbed past him.
"You're right," Nagisa said, while Karma turned his head to face the cliffside in front of him.
"Yeah, Karma, don't fall behind," Y/n shouted out teasingly while sticking out her tongue at him like a 5-year-old. At her childish action, Karma couldn't help but chuckle.
"And to believe that I was worried for you." He said fondly, only to have her respond with half teasing. "Love you too sweety,"
Y/n stopped and waited for Karma to catch up with her. Upon noticing the red-haired boy beside her, she turned her head.
"Did you really think that I was that far behind you?" She asked. Blinking back at her with a blank look, Karma freed one of his hands to make a so-so gesture.
"Meh," was his delicate reply, as Y/n looked at him.
"Didn't think so." She responded with before climbing closer to him, giving him a quick kiss, before continuing upwards.
Rolling his eyes, Karma continued upwards. Somewhere along the climb, he noticed an abnormal shark rock, on top of a small ledge. A little farther behind, he noticed Kayano, who was on her merry way towards it, completely oblivious.
"Kayano-san, you got a sharp rock half a meter up." Karma, informed her as she replied with a "Thanks."
