The Devil Duo (Karma x Reader)

Part 26 (Outcome time)

After explaining Karma and Nagisa's backstory to Kayano, she sett off to her team. Not soon after the mini-war began, Takebayashi and Kataoka got shoot by red paint bullets.

'Knew he'd use tactics like that... but that's just like him. Alls fair in love and war after all...'

"So, Ritsu? What do you think the outcome will be?" Y/n asked the AI with split attention.

"Good question, Y/n-san. I really don't know. Either way, I'll cheer for both sides." She said happily, while Y/n nodded.

"That sounds just like you."

Looked back at her phone, several names were crossed out, making Y/n sweatdrop. Okajima, Chiba, and Sōsuke from the red team were out in the blink of an eye.

'Way to make it interesting' Y/n thought, looking at her classmates who definitely made their way out of the battlefield.

'I guess all that gaming came in handy for her. I'm happy Kanzaki's able to put her wargaming in good use. However, this seems a little bit too-' Y/n thought as she saw someone sitting on the branch above her.

'Oh, dear...'

When Kanzaki was right underneath, Karma flipped backward and captured her in a light chokehold with his left arm. After talking for a bit, Kanzaki closed her eyes, accepting defeat, as Karma used a swift knife cut, and she was instantly declared "dead."

"Ah, well done out there," Korosensei said as Meg claimed ut to the wooden plateau we sat on.

"How careless, to be killed off right at the start..." She said, while Y/n walked up to her and patted her on the back.

"It wasn't your fault. Karma probably had the attack planned out from the start." Y/n said reassuringly.

'He's quite evil that way...'

"I know," Meg said before she looked at the field. Mimura, suddenly begun to move. "I wonder what his plans on doing next." She softly said out loud as Y/n rested her chin between her index finger and thumb.

"It's true that Karma can be unpredictable... Especially in a war-like situation," The h/c-haired girl said, deep in thought.

"I guess we only have to wait and see, but..." She said, keeping the rest of the thought to herself.

'...He made his first move so, when is Nagisa going to make it?'

Getting another beep on the phone, Y/n looked at it. Sugino, and Fuwa from the blue team, and Kirara from the red team was out. Not long after Kurahashi and Kayano got killed off too.

"So far 7 people from the blue team and 4 people from the red team is out," Ritsu informed the girls while giving a wink.

'I guess everything's been going as Karma planned, but there's bound to be someone who gets a little to coky in a situation like this.'

Almost right after the thought entered her head another two people were declared "dead." This time it was from the red team.

'Yepp, called it.' Y/n thought sweatdropping.

Looking at Karma, she could see the knowing yet unimpressed face. By reading his lips Y/n could make out what he said; "He got ahead of himself. Why can't people just do as they're told?"

'You're one to talk Karma, you're one to talk...' Y/n thought, thinking back to the numerous of times Karma had deliberately disobeyed his teachers and straight out walked out of ht classroom.
