The Devil Duo (Karma x Reader)

Part 14 (Talent time)

"Don't look away! Predict your target's moves! If you do that you'll block every escape route." Karasuma-sensei called out to the students that were sparring with each other.

Some of the students chose to stay in pairs while the other's practiced alone.

'We're going on our fourth month of training, and more and more students are showing promise.' Karasuma though as he prepared himself for the incoming attacks.

'Yuma Isogai and Hiroto Maehara. Those two have great reflexes, and when they work as a pair, their knifes hit the target more often now.' He thought as both of them attacked him with different stabbing motions, from both the front and back.

From the side, a knife suddenly came really close to hitting him. He widened his eyes a little bit in surprise, but only for a millisecond before looking at the attacker.

'Akabane Karma. He seems like the evasive, meandering type at first glance, but behind that facade lurks the instinct of a killer.' He though as Karma gave out a small "tch".

Not paying enough attention he nearly got kicked in the face by Bf/n's foot as she did a walkover towards him.

'Bf/n. Her slightly reckless behavior makes her movements nearly unpredictable. Something that's handy when you're gonna take our someone who is a strategist.' Karasuma said as once again, nearly met a new foot.

'Hinata Okano's quick movements come from her gymnastics background, and Meg Kataoka has a reach that could easily rival the boys.'

'These are the ones who stand out as attackers.' Karasuma though slightly smirking before Korosensei suddenly stepped in, making him lose the inner monologue he had with himself.

"And Korosensei, the very model of the ideal teacher. To kill such a character of a man would be unthinkable!" The yellow octopus said as he was covered in a sparkling pink aura.

"Don't make up thoughts for me. Get lost target." Karasuma said as his eyebrow slightly twitched in irritation.

'Truth be told, the other students may have a long way to go, but they've come much farther than I expected...' He thought before his body tensed at the change that happened.

The air around him changed, and it felt like the temperature dropped several degrees. Karasuma froze for a split-second as he felt the uncomfortable feeling of being watched by a wild Lynx, that was sneaking up on its prey right before striking. Not a millisecond later he felt another dangerous presence, this time in the form of a python as it slowly wrapped itself around its prey.

In the small moment of panic, almost as if in pure instinct Karasuma used all the force to take down the two who sent out the alerting presence. Something that resulted in him flipping Nagisa sideways, and Y/n over his shoulder.

Both of them landed on the ground as the impact gave out a large thud, catching the attention of the other students.

"Ow..." both of them said as Y/n rubbed her shoulder, while Nagisa rubbed his back.

Snapping out of the trance-like state he immediately walked towards them to see if they were okay.

"Sorry. I put a little too much force in my block, back there," he said to the two as Bf/n ran up to Y/n to check it the girl was okay.

"Yeah, no kidding. I wouldn't even call that a block, I mean you flipped them like a pancake." She said as she helped the h/c-haired girl up.

"Oh, that's okay/I'm fine," both of them said as they looked at Karasuma who breathed out in slight relief.
