Part 29 (Happy birthday time)

They were too naive... Thinking everything could have a happy ending just like in a fairytale. However, the military had other plans... Or more like they used the 3E-students as a distraction, while they prepared everything they needed.

A powerful weapon, uncrossable barriers, and a coverup story. Everything down to the single last detail had been planned out. This coverup story about 3E was immediately sent to the media, and not soon after everyone one of them was surrounded by interviewers.

Thankfully Karasuma came in and saved his students from the media. Claiming that they terrified us by making up some fictional story for sheer entertainment value. The first part was an obvious lie, but the latter part made many of everyone in 3E angry.

They painted Korosensei as an unstable and down to the core, evil creature and 3E as weak and defenseless victims. Honestly, Y/m couldn't and would never forgive them. Especially for painting Korosensei as such a barbaric and rotten creature.

However, that wasn't the blow that would almost finish 3E off. Not long after chasing off the media. Karasuma told them how the government had implemented their last resort plan into action. A high power laser that would completely wipe Korosensei off the Earth's surface.

When everyone headed home the aura was very, solemn. However, one thing kept bugging Y/n about what Karasuma said.

-Flashback-

"If I ever had a hard time, I'd trust you without hesitation. I can count on you."

"Listen closely, Nagisa-kun... Don't give me a hard time. Are we clear?"

-Flashback end-

"Guy's wait!" Y/n said as everyone stopped.

"Why?" Terasaka asked angrily while Y/n looked at him with an ugly look.

"I don't think Karasuma told us off," Y/n said, making sure everyone heard her.

"What do you mean?" Isogai asked as Y/n brushed away a wayward hair strand.

"I think- I think he trusts us to handle the situation ourselves. No, more correctly. He of all people, actually believes that we're able to sort it out." Y/n continued, seeing how the light returned in her classmate's eyes.

"What we want to accomplish, what we're capable of, and what Korosensei would want us to do," Y/n said and looked at them.

"Don't you think it's funny? This whole world is at its brink of extinction. The government has an absolute weapon that could exterminate the global threat, and even so. Karasuma believes that we are the people that will end it." Y/n said with a smile while tears threatened to fall from her eyes.

'We're going to be the one to end him...'

-Time Skip-

"Our last mission: get everyone to the school safely!" Isogai shouted as 3E begun their mission to reach Korosensei before the deadline. 

It was truly a race against time.

Standing in front of the woods, the class stopped up to form our plan and divide it into groups.

"Maehara, Mimura, Bf/n and Isogai, you three take out the front guards," Y/n said as they nodded. 

"Hara and Rinka you take out the first squad with Maehara and the rest after. Chiba, you take out any lone wolves that might decide to show up." Then Y/n took a small pause, thinking things over.

"Will start from there, report to me after you're done. The rest of you, scout the area to see where they're located but don't do anything. Instead, report to me where they located. Me, Karma, and Nagisa will work on gathering them together." She said before everyone parted ways.
