Male Fighter 3: Calhaun Kane

Name: Calhaun Evan Kane

Strength of Affinity: hand to hand combat. Professional at kickboxing and the mixed martial arts. You’ll never know which body part hit you- he’s that good. Secondary skill of agility.

Appearance: Cal is very much like his parents in his appearance, with his too-close pig eyes that are black as night; his upturned nose and his out-jutting chin. He looks exceptionally like a pig, if it weren't for his mousy brown dreadlocks that hung to his shoulders. His lips are thin and are turned down at the corners at all times, and he has a mono-brow. His body is the biggest surprise if you look at it for the first time- he is 6’2” in height with broad shoulders and muscles that rip across his chest. He has the tendency to crack his knuckles when speaking.

Personality: Cal is a person who is headstrong, but that quality leads to stubbornness, which is another thing which is very much like Cal. He has no humor, and hates not being taken seriously. He is a workaholic, and does everything to please those around him. He does have a quick temper. He is the oldest in a family of six- and his whole family fears him because he terrorizes them.

History: Cal was born to two Fire Affinities, and they were both extremely disappointed with him turning out to be a Fighter. But after having another three kids, who all were Fire Affinities, they came to peace with their oldest child being different.

But Cal knew that his parents treated all of his siblings much better than him, so when he was eighteen, he left them and moved into a boarding school type place, where he continued his training.

He has had quite a boring life, without romance, few friends, and a normal family. But when he became twenty, he actually became aware of the war around him, and went back to his parents.

They accepted him back, but when he lost his job and his money, they kicked him out. That was when he was kidnapped for the Games.

Though they kidnapped him, Cal has-in some way- been hoping to be chosen. He wants to be a leader, and is committed to that thought.

2 Leadership qualities:

1)      Cal is committed to every single thought he forms in his head. And even his family can’t say he isn't committed, because for example, when he was younger, he decided that he would be the best fighter in his ‘training class’ and went against a big bulky kid. But being weak and puny at the time, Cal lost a lot before he noticed his enemy’s weakness, and won. After fifty-two lost matches.

2)      Cal’s other quality is intuition. He trusts in himself, and that somehow calls others to trust in him. Even though his parents didn't like him, they trusted him much more than the other children they had. He can make people think he can get them out of this puzzle, even though he himself doesn't know how.

Token: Cal doesn't really bother with tokens. He doesn't really have anything he has a deep attachment to, other than his first fallen tooth, which he keeps in a tiny jar around his neck like a necklace.
