Ok so I know it might be annoying, but I have been taking a story line of another thing and putting it in here just to mix it up and change something about it. Hopefully you like them 🤷🏼♀️
~Your POV~
It was just another summer at camp Champion.
Every day is another challenge. By that I just mean different games. This camp is crazy. They do something 24/7 and I barely get a break from it. Yeah I love sports and all, but people need breaks. This camp doesn't do that. We have to go to bed at midnight and wake up at 4, just to play sports. Even at night sometimes kids get up and run.
I think they're completely crazy. Everything about this camp is CRAZY! You're lucky if you were at the camp across the lake. They don't do anything! You could literally sit around all day and they will be fine with it! And I heard an eighteen year old is running the camp.
We're rivals but I just want to leave this camp and transfer over the lake. We have a bride connecting it so we can get over to 'the spot.' I always go there. It gives me time away from everyone and the people at my camp don't even notice me. I can't even play that many sports where I'm from. I'm from queens New York!
Every night before bed I go over to the spot and just relax there. One night I even fell asleep and that was the best sleep I got all summer.

"Pick up the pace y/n!" Erin yelled.
He was so annoying.
"I'm trying to!" I yelled back.
I was far behind everyone. They were sprinting while I was trying to sprint.
"Have you ever thought that maybe you shouldn't be at camp champion!" He yelled.
"Every freaking day!" I yelled back.
"Well then why don't you just leave already!" He yelled.
Everyone laughed at me. I stopped and put my hands on my knees. I looked over to my right to see camp kikiwaka, the camp across the lake, paddle boating. They always had fun while doing everything. I was jealous, everyday.
I caught my breath and just headed back to my cabin. I stared out the window across the lake.
Why did my mom have to sign me up here and not over there?!
"Y/n! Get down here!" Erin yelled.
I hopped off my bunk and ran to the door.
"Yes Erin?" I asked.
"We're going to be playing a quick little game of tag. We're all it and we have to get you." He said.
He smirked, "I'll give you a five second head start."
I turned and started running. I knew this was stupid, but this happened every time I ditched them and went to the cabin. I ran to where they could probably see me but I didn't care.
I caught my breath again.
"Get her!" I heard someone yell.
I look up to see all of them running towards me.
"Oh come on." I said under my breath.
I ran to my favorite hideout where no one could find me. I hid there and stared out a little hole. They were looking and started running the other way trying to look for me. I sighed and leaned against the wall.
I crawled out of the hideout. I'm going to the spot. I walked toward the bridge and ran across, hoping no one would spot me. I saw the kids from the other camp were done in the lake. I made it to the spot successfully and sat on a rock. I just sat there and stared at the ground.
My heart was pounding and my head was aching.
"Why is this my life right now?" I asked myself.
I heard a group of kids walking towards the spot. I jumped and hid behind the rock. I peeked over to see who it was.
"Emma, you can not be serious right now." A Girl said.
"I am being serious. Camp champion kids area bunch of brats. Look at them over there." Emma said pointing across the lake.
The kids grouped together and looked across. I honesty didn't care that she said that. They are brats.
"They just look like kids who have a serious issue with working out. Like, I get it, having a good body is cool and all, but like seriously chill out." Another girl said.
"Zuri, they're just kids like us, but they just like to do more things." Another girl said.
"Lou, face it, they're crazier than us." Emma said.
"Hey who's that?" I heard a boy ask to my right.
I turned my head and saw there was a teenage boy who looked about Emma's age standing there and pointing to me. The girls turned to look over.
I slowly stood up with my hands in the air in defense.
"Um...hey?" I said.
"You're from camp champion! Why are you here? It's our turn for the spot." He said.
I looked down and saw that I was wearing a shirt that had camp champions logo on it. I put my hands down slowly.
"Nobody comes across our turf." Lou said.
"Yeah, kikiwaka could kick your hurt if we wanted to." Zuri said.
"Zuri, don't get too cocky. You know how they are over there." Emma said, "But Seriously you're not suppose to be over here."
"GET HER!" Zuri yelled.
The guy was over with the girls, so I ran towards their camp. I can never catch a break.
I ran into their camp. I looked back for a split second and all of a sudden I was being held by someone. I tried squirming out of their arms.
"Stop her!" The guy yelled.
"Xander, she's already caught, are you blind?" Zuri asked.
"Oh."
They walked over to us.
"Peter, put her down." Emma said.
"Peter?" I asked.
I was set down and turned to face the boy holding me.
"Y/n?" He asked.
My jaw dropped.
"How do you two know each other?" Emma asked.
"We're both from queens New York, and we go to the same school but never really talk." I said.
"Well that doesn't happen often. But why were you at the spot?" Xander asked.
"Because camp champion kids are the worst. They never take any breaks and whenever I escape from them, they always punish me some way by having a 49 to 1 battle with them. They're so annoying and I need to leave that camp." I explained.
"Well maybe y-you could crash here f-for a few days." Peter said.
"Can I?" I asked.
"Of course you can. You can stay in woodchuck cabin." Emma said.
"Thank you so much. What can I do to repay you?" I asked.
"Give is a thousand bucks." Zuri said.
"Zuri!" They all yelled in unison.
"I've got 20 bucks and a gift card to delmars." I said.
"Deal." She said.
I handed her the things and I was set.
She doesn't even know what delmars is. She's not a very good negotiator.
