That's the Girl I'm in Love With

Austin's POV

"So I got my friend Beth to help me while your here." I said as I walked back into the room.

"Who's Beth?"

"Oh, I never even told you. I sat beside Beth on the way to Miami airport, we spoke a good bit and then her mom gave me a lift to the hospital from the airport. I said that we would invite her for dinner because she helped me out so me. I mean she kept me calm on the plane, her mom has asked me to preform at Beth's surprise party. Als your going to love her."

Mean while Clancy came in to take Ally's blood pressure.

" Wait so when I was here in pain, your were sitting chatting to a girl TOTALLY CALM."

" No Ally... I..."

" SAVE IT AUSTIN. " She began to cry her eyes out. I walked out to hug her but she pushed me away.

"Ally, she was talking to me. She helped me get here? She was a fan, I couldn't be rude to her?"

"WHO'S MORE IMPORTANT, YOUR FANS OR ME AND YOUR DAUGHTER!" She shouted.

" Ally, I don't think I can cope with a one day old baby by myself. "

" AUSTIN, YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE INDEPENDENT."

" WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE A TEAM, REMEMBER AUSTIN AND ALLY, ALLY AND AUSTIN." I just completely lost my temper, seriously. Did she think that I would put another girl before her...

" Austin, I'm.." Her voice softened.

"No save it Ally." I stormed out of the room and sat with my head in my hands in the hall. Clancy followed me out. She walked over and put her hand on my shoulder.

"Hey Austin, Look I know that Ally is difficult to deal with right now, her emotions are all totally messed up. She could be over the moon one second, and fit to kill you a second later. I'm afraid you have to put up with that for a couple of days.

Imagine how upsetting it is that she isn't at home for the baby's first night. Austin, she loves you so so so much. I can tell that you two are more in love than most of the couples that come in here and that's the truth. Hey, Ally is in there sobbing her eyes out, just go in and give her a hug. She probably doesn't even remember why she is sad. Your great Austin, I'm sure everyone is very proud of you. "

I looked up and gave her a grateful smile, Clancy was being so good to us, maybe it's because she is young too. How is she already married, surely she is only at most 2 years older than us.
I walked back into Ally, she had her head in her hands and her sobs were shaking her body.
" Aw Ally." I walked over to her and kissed the top of her head. She cuddled into me whimpered.
" I.... I'm s...sorry Austin. I..I don't... K..know whats w..wrong with me." She cried.

"It's okay Als, I know it's hard being stuck in here. I will only go home in the evenings okay. I'll stay here with you. Beth and Dez are going to come in the evenings and will help me then.. Beth is going to call in so you can meet her soon."

Just as I finished talking, Beth walked through the door. She had stonewashed jeans, a floral top and long blonde hair. She was wearing heels but you could tell she was short. Just like Ally, except Beth tried to hide it, ally embraced everything about herself. Thats why I love her.

"Hey Ally, I'm Beth. Austin's friend, how are you? Austin told me what happened, are you okay?"

"Hey Beth, I'm okay. Just a little tired and emotional. Thank you so much for helping Austin out. He thought that he and Dez could mind her but have you met Dez?"

"Wait Dez, like Desmond. Does she go to classes in Miami College in the evenings? Studying Directing?"

"Yeah he does actually, do you know him?"

"Yeah, he is in my class. I'm studying to be a director too!" Beth took a seat beside Ally and they began chatting about the baby, just as Dez walked in. He caught one glimpse of Beth and walked out of the room. Summoning me to come with him. When I got out of the room he was standing there
looking panicked.

"Austin, remember yesterday I asked you how you know if your in love.."

"I remember buddy, oh no...What have you done..."

"Nothing, but that girl in there.. Beth, thats the girl." He paused. " I'm in love with."

"No way... Dezzy is in loveeeeeeeeeee." I ran over and patted his back. Well now is your chance, come on in and talk to her."

He followed me inside and I pushed him up to Beth, "hey Beth, this is Dez."

"Hey, Dez your in my class in the college."

"Um yeah I am, how you been?" I could tell Dez has gone bright red.

" Yeah, good thanks." She smiled.

I looked at Ally, "Hey Als, let's go and get the
baby."
