Jungkook tossed you a chip bag as you caught it in your hands, you gave him a quick smile and proceeded to eat. It's been weeks and you've gotten quite comfortable with Jungkook, to the point that you and him would hang out in his house.
"Wanna go with me to lotte world this weekend?" Your eyes had remained on the tv as you continued to chew. He found it more better since he was sure he looked like a pleading puppy. You shook your head, "Wonu already invited me like, two days ago."
He frowned, the way the said boy's nickname rolled out of your tongue made him scrunch his face in annoyance. He hated how he would just get beaten from all of the invitations to hang out.
"Well at least you haven't bought the tickets yet since Wonu already did, next time Kook, thanks for the offer though." You grinned at him and he sadly smiled, looking at his opened bag that had occupied two certain tickets. Lotte world tickets.
"But I already did buy them." He whispered as he was disheartened.
He felt hurt, he remembered his time buying the tickets, it took him two hours just to get them, just to hear that he was two days late in asking for you to hang out with him.
Of course he felt jealous, he just wanted to spend time with you but all he ever hears is Wonwoo-he had enough of Wonwoo. He's had enough of you always smiling just by hearing Wonwoo's name.
"Y/n?" He muttered, you looked at him, face softening as you examined his sad eyes.
"Is Wonwoo your bestfriend?"
You silenced, of course he was, he was your childhood friend, but the sadness that was evident in Jungkook's tone felt so familiar, like you've heard it when you were a kid. It was like how your childhood friend would speak when he was about to cry-but that's impossible since Wonwoo is your childhood friend-right?
"Of course Kook, why'd you ask?" He sighed, "Am I not your best friend?" He looked at you with these sad eyes that seemed to twinkle as if they were yearning for your gaze.
"Of course you are, F/n's my best friend, Wonwoo is, all seven of you, I have lots of best friends Kook, so why are you sad?" You asked softly and he shook his head, looking away, it pained your heart for some reason.
You felt like you made a mistake but you don't even know what, "Are you sad that I can't go with you to Lotte world?"
He didn't answer as he looked down, you smiled gently. "You don't have to be sad Kook, I can hang out with you any time of the week or day, so cheer up because the others are currently on their way here, anyway see you Kook." You smiled.
He stood up, frowning, "You're not gonna stay for the others?" He asked, obviously not happy. You ruffled his hair, "Well I want to, but Jin plans to turn my head orange so that we can be matching, and I don't wanna hear Jimin's whines since he'll just complain how I'd agree if it was Jin but not with him, since he had orange hair, years ago or something? I don't know." You laughed.
"It seems like you know them too well." He laughed and you shrugged, showing your phone. "They're fighting about the orange hair in the group chat." You said and slung your bag over your shoulders.
"Not that I don't find Jimin's whines annoying, more like cute but hey, why don't you say that to him so he won't be sulky later." You joked and he nodded, waving at you as you exited his home.
