"Can I be your field trip partner?"

You gulped as you held your books tighter, you glanced at F/n by your side, just to see her wriggling her eyebrows. Which of course did not help.

You were frozen as Wonwoo and Jungkook didn't fail to look at you, you felt pressured because why did they have to ask at the same time? You just wanted to enter the school in peace but you get this. And in the morning, not fair for you.

"Okay first of all, I'm closer with you, so I'm your partner right?" Wonwoo grinned as he stepped closer. Jungkook shook his head, "I knew her first, I planned to ask you but I forgot yesterday." Jungkook said.

He didn't really forget, it was on his mind all day but once he saw you, he can't help but to be panicked and shy.

"You don't have a partner right?" Jungkook asked, nervous as he glanced at F/n. "I saved you guys some slack 'cause yes, this girl is free from me but up to her if she wants you to be her partner."

"I- u-uh." You stuttered, you were definitely nervous, what if you picked one, then the other one would be hurt, vice versa. Even after all of the anxiousness, you managed to control your facial features and looked at F/n for help.

"Sorry to interrupt but I need to say something with y/n, thanks." You heard a familiar voice as you felt hands on your shoulders, pulling you away from F/n and the two boys.

The person's hold from your shoulders moved to softly grab your hand, as the person came into view, you smiled as it was Jinyoung, giving you a heart-warming smile.

"Looks like you've got two boys fighting over you." He chuckled, letting go off your hand, removing the warmness that was once there. He stopped as he faced you with a grin, "Well, Mark hyung and Jackson hyung are already partners, Jaebum hyung and Youngjae, Kunpimook and Yugyeom, I'm the only one who doesn't have a partner." He laughed.

"So will you be mine?"

"N-not like that way but you know, my partner?" He stuttered, you laughed, realizing how his statement had sounded. "I promise to fill my bag with food instead of the things really needed." He smiled cheekily and you chuckled. This boy really knows you, huh?

"Don't use food against me! But sure, I'll be yours." He widened his eyes as he looked flustered. "I-I'll be your partner." You corrected and he laughed as you pouted. "You made the same mistake too!" You whined as he draped his arm over your shoulders.

He stole glances at you as the both of you walked, he smiled. I'll just give up, hm? I see you've got two boys fighting over you. Instead I'll remain as your friend that won't even think of leaving you. He sadly thought.

Instead of wanting to be yours, he wanted to be by your side more, and remain as your friend even if he knows he'll get hurt.
