Your POV
Christmas was finally around the corner, I believe we have about 10 days left, but we're not going to give our employee's there break yet. They going to get there 2-week break, but after Christmas and on New Year's Day.
For now, they will work for those 2 weeks. Which has always been the drill for my family, and apparently Zhengting's... speaking of him. He has been acting very weird lately. Like very paranoid.
He's now more at his company than mine now. Which, saddens me a bit.
And without him there, some of the employees from the marketing department asked if our companies were shareholders. Which I to explain to them; yes. Zhengting's company and mine are shareholders of each other. That is how we are business partners. Aside from that, he's my mentor and roommate.
I was sitting in my office. Checking over some reports and resumes.
When suddenly, Zhengting stormed in. Slamming the door behind him. I jumped a bit from the loud slam, gripping my pen harder.
"Yangmi. Where are my flies?"
I looked away from my desk and saw him staring right at me. "What files?"
"What do you mean, "what files", the ones I told you to bring this morning!"
"Zhengting. You were the one who brought it this morning." I answered back quietly, but still audible to him. But I think that made him more upset.
"What? So your saying I'm lying?"
"N-No! I'm saying you might have misplaced it somewhere."
After I said that, he had like a major outburst. Zhengting ran his fingers through his hair, halfway before gripping it harshly, while his other hand was resting on his hip. "For fuck sakes..."
Right at that moment, his phone rang.
"Wei? THEY DID WHAT?!" I saw how angry and frustrated he got. It got me curious and concerned for him. I stood us and walked over to his desk, placing my hand on his shoulder, showing my concern for him. But he... he shrugged his shoulder away from me.
I felt a slight betrayal in my heart. I mean, I have seen his stern, CEO strict side almost every day. But this. He was being cold and rude.
Zhengting ended his phone call and walked out of the room, slamming the door after. I stood there in disbelief before getting a knock at the door.
"Come in." I sighed, closing my eyes.
"Miss. Chung. We have a meeting in 5 minutes."
I nodded my head, before exhaling harshly.
"I-Is? President Zhu not joining us?'
"No," I replied back emotionlessly. "I'll be there in 5." Once I heard the door close, I cursed loudly. "Shit!"
