They're following us yelling and honking like idiots. And they have these weird looking rainbow-colored banners on them and I'm surprised they could be this fast. And our bike is rickety old. It's actually quite noisy and bumpy. If it was our bike back in CA we would've lost them minutes ago.
They seem to know every twists and turns in Ikebukuro. That's to be expected. We've been travelling beneath this overpass highway for quite some time now and we don't know where we're going. Even the Google maps can barely keep up. I can't even see where to turn and even if I instruct Xander, she can't even hear me from this speed.
We stopped and Xander whispers, "Shit." The engine smells like sparks. We both get down and she pulls the bike into a Mister Donut shop. I mean, really, we're inside the shop with the bike.
All the customers stopped eating and looked at us. Xander crouches down and then carefully explains, "We're being attacked by a biker gang. I don't even know why. We don't mean any harm. Just let us hide here for a minute."
And they all blankly look at us. They can't possibly understand what she means. Then, the honks resonate. They're here! The people look at each other and then they all help Xander pull her bike into the shop and they pull down the blinds. One of them is keeping on the lookout. The waiter even flipped the sign 'closed'. I don't know why they're helping us but I'm very thankful.
As soon as all the bikers passed, they pull the blinds up and then ask if we're okay. I don't understand but I can tell that's what they're saying.
"Arigatou Gozaimasu." I say. That is all I know.
Now, they're all flocking at us and some even bought us donuts. A group of high school girls are flocking around Xander. They're asking for something about LINE. Like hell I know that.
"Kimi no namae wa?" one of them asks.
"Xander." She answers. She's probably asking her name, "American-jin desu. Tasukete arigatou." And Xander is probably telling them she's American and maybe thanking them again.
"Kimi was sugoku takai da na! Moderu mitai! Urayamashii!" I'm lost. And then, the girl looks at me, "Kareshi?"
"Iie." Xander smirks, "Kanojo da."
All the girls blush. I don't even know what she said to them. She surely knows how to seduce girls. This bastard.
We're back home. Xander barely fixed the bike in Misudo so we end up pushing it till we get back to Jun-nii's.
We told Jun-nii about what we've been through and he's just laughing at us. He's drinking alcohol at noon. He's drunk two cans but he still seems sober. I guess that's a yakuza for ya.
"It's easy to get on those gangsters's bad side so it's not something new. They just don't know what else to do so they're picking fight to whoever looks tough."
"So, it was my fault?" Xander glares at Jun-nii and he laughs again nodding.
She pouts and then suddenly her mood lifts up as she says, "We met high school girls and they said I'm very tall and I look like a model and they're jealous."
"Yeah, Japanese loves tall people. Not just tall, they love Americans." He says and then he drinks a booze with the name 'Sapporo' on it, "I was in a biker gang too when I was younger. Although, that was back in America. I studied there. I couldn't finish studies because I got addicted to the gang."
Jun-nii turns around and removes his shirt, showing a dragon tattoo biting a dragon fruit inked on his back. I immediately grip on Xander's hands. Her shallow breathing becomes heavy and she started to shiver.
