STEPHAN.
Xander was acting weird.
People sometimes lose appetite but not Xander. She eats even with five canker sores. She eats even her stomach is upset. She still eats even her jaws hurts from fight. She eats even in whatever situation. She's just an eater. It's already 4 in the afternoon and she eats like a stone. And everyone knows stones don't eat.
And she lets out a scary vibe. It's almost like there's a teapot inside her head. She's literally letting out a smoke. It's scary to even approach her. I want to ask what's wrong but every time I call out her name she was looking at me with this weird reaction I've never seen with anyone else. Her face is bright red and she looks like she can't swallow. I don't know if she's angry.
We eat in the café Coco was working at. I guess in Japan Omelette rice is considered a café food. Xander is staring intently at the menu. I'm so hungry and this gal couldn't decide on what to eat. I mean, we all know she's the only one who can read Japanese and now she does nothing but bury her nose to the menu.
I snap and she screams and throws the menu to the ceiling startling other customers. The menu falls down to the other table and Xander stands up to pick it up, apologizing to the two gorgeous office ladies, kissing their hands. What the fuck. She's downright weird. She doesn't usually seduce other woman unless we have to or we're trying to get into their good side. But now... yeah we're apologizing and stuffs but...
"Should I just get you guys a muffin?" Coco suggests turning to Xander, "You too right?"
She nods frantically. Is it just me or Coco is trying to cover Xander's weirdness?
Coco's phone buzzes. He took it out of his apron. As far as I'm concerned in this kind of job, you're not supposed to bring your phone to work. But he's using it on front of us so yeah, another weird stuff. I feel like I'm the only one normal here.
"Jun-nii messaged me." Coco says, eyes still glued on his phone, "He's telling us to drop by his house today before evening."
"Oh my God." Xander hides her head under the menu, "Is he looking for his bike? Gawd, it's all bust up!" she's overreacting.
"I don't think so." I say but I'm not sure either.
I just don't think it's about the bike since I know Jun-nii doesn't expect us to have anything to do with him anymore. Plus, the bike is his little token for what he has done to Xander before. It will be weird if he starts asking about the motorcycle now.
"Shall we go?" I turn my head to Xander.
"You mean right now?" Xander asks and she shakes her head, "No, no, no no, no! Fuck no way! No way in hell!"
Is she having a breakdown? Is after all these time in this journey, she finally lost her mind? Fuck Xander. Why now?
But since I'm the normal guy here, I just agreed to eat first. But I guess whether or not we stall here, she's just prolonging her agony. Either way, I'll be dropping to Jun-nii. Whether she comes or not, it doesn't matter. I have nothing against Jun-nii after all.
Though, she came. She's hiding behind Coco and I. it's so not like her. She's one big lady. I can tiptoe all I want but it's hopeless.
"I bet you're not good in hide-and-seek." I say.
"I'm good. I've been traumatized. I'm so good in hiding that my playmates has gotten tired of searching for me and they end up playing another round, or worse a different game, or worst they have gone back home."
"Uh..." I bite my lower lip. I regret what I've just said. I don't know what to say about that. That's one of the saddest childhood story I've ever heard.
