Your POV
I woke up in the middle of the night, hearing the rain pour outside my window. I walked into the hallways to see all the lights of the mansion turned off. I breathed a sigh of relief as I walked into Scrooge McDuck's bedroom. He was sound asleep, his chest raising up and going down with each breath. I shouldn't let my emotions get ahead of myself. I am still not sure if I am ready to reveal my true feelings to Mr. McDuck. After all, I am his employee and making a scene about my feelings towards him can lead me out onto the streets again. "Get your filthy chimney hands off my hard earned milk and cookies!", Scrooge spoke in his sleep as he tossed and turned in the bed. I giggled to myself as I never thought the almighty Scrooge McDuck would dream about Santa Claus taking his milk and cookies with him on Christmas Day. Scrooge gasped out loud as he awoke from his slumber, causing me to quickly and easily run back to my bedroom, not realizing I left my house coat behind.Scrooge McDuck's POV
I gasped as I woke up from my bizarre dream about Santa stealing my hard earned milk and cookies from me cupboard. I looked around to see that the door was wide open. "Funny, I don't remember leaving my bedroom door open when I got into bed," I said to myself and got up slowly to look out the door. Nothing was moving or any lights were on. The only thing I found was a house coat. I picked it up and looked at the design. "This isn't the boys or Webby's house coat. Not even my nephew, Donald Ducks coat." I smelled the fabric and picked up the familiar scent. "(Y/N)? Now why on Earth was she doing in my room? Was it the storm outside?" I looked out my window and saw the rain was lighting up a bit.I remember she wanted to tell me something, but couldn't due to Launchpad interrupting us when he came inside from the storm. She never said what she wanted to tell me. I really need to know what is going on inside her head. I took my cane with me as I quietly made my way to her bedroom. Her door was left opened to a crack and I slowly opened it, trying not to make the door creak so loudly. I saw her up in her sheets with a flashlight illuminating inside. What could she possibly be doing at this hour?
Your POV in diary form
"Dear diary,
Today I started working for Mr. Scrooge McDuck. He may be a stubborn, rich man with a short temper. But, I learned never to judge someone's attitude towards you because of their temper. I cleaned the mansion and Scrooge let me sit with him as we watched the storm from outside. He enjoys my cooking, cleaning and company while his family is away for a couple of weeks. I learned so much about his explorations, his klondike, and his Money Bin. His favorite ice cream is sea salt ice cream and he especially loves cookies fresh from the oven. I should whip some up tomorrow. Anyway, diary, I need help deciding whether or not to reveal my true feelings towards Scrooge. Sure, I may be his maid and he may not feel the same. But, the longer I wait the longer it is going to be hard to tell him my feelings. Who knows maybe he might consider a relationship. It was nice talking to you diary. Until next time. ❤Scrooge's POV
I saw her writing something in a book of some kind. Maybe its a journal or an activity book. She was beginning to come out and I closed the door. "Tomorrow I am going to talk to that girl. Or my name isn't Scrooge McDuck.Next morning
Your POV
I got up and put on my maid outfit to start the day. I went downstairs to find Launchpad tying his shoes, but having a hard time. "Oh good morning, Miss. (Nickname)." I smiled and helped Launchpad with his shoes. "There you go Launchpad." He tipped his hat as way of saying thank you. "Say, you haven't seen Mr. McDuck have you?" Launchpad thought deeply and replied. "Sure hes out in the garden." I made my way to the garden and saw Scrooge reading a book with his favorite hot tea beside him."Ah good morning lass." I blushed as I went over to him. "Mind if I sit beside you?" Scrooge patted the seat next to him and put his book down. "So, (Y/N), what were you going to say to me yesterday?" I gulped and fiddled with my dress. "I...uh...its not important." Scrooge raised and eyebrow and crossed his arms over his chest. "Lass, I know that I can be seen as prudish and not caring, but you can trust me." I looked into his eyes, sparkling under the sunlight. "Its now or never, (Y/N)," I thought and sighed. "Scrooge I wanted to tell you that-" Launchpad came running into the garden with a cellphone. "Mr. McD! Its for you."
Scrooge sighed. "Curse me kilts!" He took the phone and talked to the person on the other line. I watched him pace bsck and forth, only saying "uh huh" for every response. "Alright thank you, Flinty. I'll be there. Okay. Goodbye." Scrooge hung up and looked at me. "Get dressed in formal, (Y/N). My good for nothing Flintheart Glomgold, has invited us to the Grand opening of the Glomgold wing at the Natural History Museum." He helped me up and went inside, leaving me alone in my thoughts. "Maybe I'll tell him later, after the party." I sighed as I went inside to get ready.
