Your POV
I woke up the next morning, feeling very excited as I remembered thst today is Scroogies birthday. I got dressed in a regular maid outfit and went down to his bedroom. I opened the door, trying not to make it creak loudly. He was still asleep, breathing calmly as he was whispering in his sleep. "(Y/N)...I...love ye so....much". I was blushing ans giggling to myself as I listened to his sweet voice. I closed the door quietly making my way downstairs. Mrs. Beakley was in the kitchen whipping up some waffles.

"Good morning Miss. (L/N), you are up awfully early." I got me a glass of water and sat in a chair. "Well today is a special day for Mr. McDuck so I wanted to get up pretty early." Mrs. Beakley turned to me while the waffle maker was making the batter. "Oh? And what day is so special for Scrooge?", she said as she took a sip of tea. "His birthday." Mrs. Beakley spat out the tea. "What?! Oh no this isn't good. He dislikes anybody who throws him a party in honor of his birth. It constantly reminds him of how old he is." I rolled my eyes and responded, "He is not old. He is probably shy and didn't get to celebrate his birthday that much woth anybody when he was young." Mrs. Beakley put the waffles on a plate and came over to me, grabbing my shoulders. "Don't say anything about his birthday. Not even tell him Happy Birthday." I smirked. "Please I got a plan to celebrate his birthday without him knowing. I'm going to send him off to the Money Bin and set up the decorations." Mrs. Beakley chuckled a bit and placed a plate of waffles in my spot. "Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you."

Scrooge came out into the kitchen, dressed in his usual clothes and his cane. "Good morning lassie," he said while giving me a kiss on the cheek. I giggled and kissed him on the lips. Mrs. Beakley smiled softly and placed a plate of waffles in front of Scrooge. "Good morning to you, Mrs. Beakley." Mrs. Beakley continued to whip up some more waffles for the kids. I looked at Scrooge, daydreaming about tonight. "So um Scrooge," I began. He put his fork down and looked at me. "Yes my sweet golden goddess?" I blushed and said, "Are you going to the Money Bin today?" Scrooge scrunched his face slightly, "Unfortunately yes, lass. The business men need to discuss my expenses all over again." My face lit up, but had to show concern for Scrooge. "Oh no! I hope they don't be too hard on you." Scrooge chuckled and grabbed my hand. "Please lass, they are dealing with Scrooge McDuck. As I always say, be smarter than the smarties and tougher than the toughies." I giggled and responded, "Just don't work too hard."

The kids came down and got their breakfast. "Morning boys and Webby," Scrooge and I said at the same time. Huey sat beside me while Louie and Dewey took their plates to the TV room. Scrooge checked the time and scowled. "Well I guess I better be on my way to the Money Bin. I'll be back as soon as I can lass." He gave me a kiss in return and walked outside to meet Launchpad to start the limo. Huey looked up at me and said, "So we are definately throwing Scrooge a party, right?" I nodded, "But nothing too crazy or sophitcated. I'm thinking of a mascarade party." Huey was jotting down notes. "Alright so a classic mascarde ball and red decorations, correct?" I nodded again, loving his enthusiasm about taking notes down. Dewey, Louie and Webby came in and sat down at the table. "So why are we throwing Scrooge a party when he clearly doesn't want to do it?", Louie asked.

I sighed and looked at a painting of Scrooge. "Because not only is this my first time celebrating his birthday, but also no one should be alone not celebrating their birthday. Especially when they say it reminds them of how old they are." They nodded and Mrs. Beakley came in looking over Huey's notes. "I know Scrooge will be mad, but you have a point, (Y/N)." I felt a chill run down my spine as everyone gasped in awe at a ghostly figure appearing right behind me. "Hello Duckworth," Webby waved excitedly. Duckworth peared straight in my soul and shook his head. "Miss. (L/N). Scrooge clearly said no parties last year." I was too surprised to respond, but slowly said, "Because no one should spend their birthday alone?." Duckworth raised an eyebrow and sighed. "Alright Miss. (L/N). I'll not mention anything to Mr. McDuck, but don't be surprised if he doesnt like it." I smiled and began planning the party before Scrooge comes back this afternoon from the Money Bin. I hoping he will love this and not get too upset that I threw him a party.
