Alan's P.O.V.
This must all just be some stupid god damn game. I shrugged the picture out of my mind, trying to be as careless as everyone else.
"Can we go to the aquarium?" I asked, taking advantage of the silence.
"I wanna go rockclimbing though," Aaron protested, playing with his phone. Tino yawned, looking over at Austin.
"What do you wanna do?" he asked.
We all looked at Austin, who seemed to be daydreaming. "Dunno, I wanna try my new skateboard."
"Skateboarding is boring!" I rolled my eyes, overreacting. Phil laughed.
"I'm in," Phil stood up, heading to the back to get his board.
"It's not boring when you know how to skate!" Austin stuck his tongue out at me, smirking.
"I can skate!" I blurted out.
Tino and Aaron laughed at me, and Austin stood up and ran to the back where Phil was.
"Are you guys skating?" I stood as well, looking down at Aaron and Tino.
Aaron frowned, shaking his head. "Nah, I can't skate."
My skills are a bit rusty. I laughed before looking at Tino, who was getting up already to go help bring out the boards in the back.
I followed Tino to the back and Austin immediately handed me my skateboard, his already in hand. Tino was digging around in the giant plastic container that contained several different boards.

Austin's P.O.V.
As soon as we all got outside of the bus, the boys all hopped on their skateboards, trailing down the street, except for Alan. Tino and Phil tried a couple of tricks on the street, laughing at eachother.
I turned around, watching Alan, who was watching me. "What are you doing?"
"Uh....nothing. Go ahead. Go." Alan waved me away, placing his skateboard on the ground.
I chuckled to myself, hopping on my board and turning around to look back at Alan. "Do you even know how to skate?"
"YES, I DO." Alan yelled.
Sighing, I followed Tino and Phil.
I've been gone,
from this world for what seems like
millenia, looking for nothing short of a miracle.
"Fuck this..." Alan squealed at the end of his sentence, and I turned around to see him on the ground.
"Alan! Are you okay?" I picked up my skateboard and ran over to him, his face down. He was obviously still breathing, heavily, maybe crying.
"No, of course I'm not." Alan huffed with his teeth clench. I studied him, his hands on his knee.
"I thought you could skate." I said almost sarcasticly, sitting down next to him on the heated street. The sun was beating down on us.
"I could." Alan said after a while, resting his head on his knee. I felt the urge to pat his back reasurringly, just to find myself playing with his hair.
"Austin, Alan," Phil skated up to us. "What happened?"
Alan didn't even look up.
"Phil why'd you turn-" he saw us. "Oh."
I looked at them. "Alan just fell."
"And he said he could skate." the guys laughed, and I just chuckled.
Alan looked up again, ignoring my hand as he struggled to stand up. I was quick to steady him when he almost fell to the ground again. "Fuck this, I'm going back inside."
He might have been able to skate at one point, but not anymore. I kinda made fun of him in my head. It's stupid how he can't swallow his pride sometimes.
"I'm going in too." I waved to Tino and Phil before returning to the tour bus.
