Austin's P.O.V.
"So, uhm, Sierra..." I cleared my throat as we sat at Denny's, a poor choice, but whatever will get me away and distracted from Alan will do. "How did you decide that music photography was the thing for you?"
Sierra fixed her dirty blonde hair with her hands before looking at the menu almost nervously. "Uhm...well, I had always liked photography, but bands were my inspiration. I had honestly never heard a song of yours, only more of....Nirvana and Miss May I...a few newer bands too."
The waitress came around, asking what we wanted to drink. We both ordered milkshakes, my go to drink.
"Oh, nice." I had lost her at 'I've never listened to you guys,'
She nodded, awkwardly. "I suppose I could start listening to....uh..."
"Of Mice and Men?" I chuckled.
"Yeah, uh, 'Of Mice and Men'." she smiled, obviously not focused on our conversation. That's alright to me too, gosh, this could be Alan in front of me.
"Well I have earbuds and my phone with you, we can listen to it if you want. They're pretty good." I mumbled, studying her.
"That and we could look over the photos from today. We have plenty of space." she mentioned the amount of space since we were sitting in a booth, and I agreed. This was probably meant for a family of four.
Sierra smiled and took out her laptop on to the table while I handed her my phone with the earbuds. She gratefully put one in her ear and left the other out so she could hear me I guess.
We scrolled through the pictures, me laughing and complimenting angles, people, and her skills. She grinned and added her own thoughts to them, etc.
"You're actually pretty good at this, Sierra," I nodded, approving of the pictures.
Sierra awkwardly smiled, probably not used to compliments yet. "Haha, thanks, Austin."
The waitress came back with our milkshakes. Shit, I forgot to look at the menu.
"Are you ready to order?" She smiled at us, probably all fake and stuff.
Sierra looked up at the waiter, then at me, her dirty blonde hair falling in to place again perfectly. Perfect, like Alan. I almost gagged, but nodded.
"You can order first." I choked out, drinking from my milkshake. Don't conpare her to Alan.
Sierra smiled again, order her 'chocolate chip pancakes with hashbrowns'.
I ordered the bacon burger with mashed potatoes.
What the hell are you doing here Austin?
Proving myself as a man, that's all.
I glanced at Sierra, who was scrolling through my playlists. I sure had taken a liking to her hair, definately.
After we ate our food and the waitress picked up our food and drinks, Sierra handed me back my phone and earbuds.
"I listened to all of Restoring Force; damn, Austin, your band is pretty good." She smirked.
I nodded with pride. "Be sure to get our albums,"
"The others must be great to work with," she continued. The waitress came up to us, smiling again.
"Would you like dessert?" she looked at us both.
I eyed Sierra, who did the same to me. I looked down at the dessert menu she slipped in to our hands.
"How about the banana split to share?" I told the waitress.
"But-" Sierra inhaled.
The waitress looked at Sierra.
"...Nevermind." she laughed and shook her head, playfully narrowing her eyes at me.
The waitress seemed pleased and nodded, jotting down the order and sniling at us.
"You guys are a cute couple, by the way." she smiled again.
"Uh.." I murmured.
"We're not..." Sierra added.
"uh...yeah...we're not...together...?" we both did our best to make sure the lady didn't assume it anymore.
But the waitress just smiled again and walked off.
There was a silence at our table before we burst out laughing.
"People these days." Sierra grinned, shaking her head again.

I had insisted to pay for us both, it wasn't much, and drove her to wherever she had to be; I didn't even remember. I got out of the drivers seat and opened her door for her door for her while she grabbed her laptop and camera stuff. She got out, smiling at me.
"You're a gentleman, Austin." she leaned up and pecked my cheek, something awkward I got from crazy fans sometimes, but this time it wasn't as awkward. We took a few selfies before Sierra dissapeared from sight in to the building. I smiled at myself. Good job, Austin.
Alan's P.O.V.
My mind has been going crazy, where is Austin? Did he get in a car crash? Is he leaving forever? But I managed to stay still and look like I was shit, which was fine. Perfectly fine. I didn't need anyone to tell me how "boy crazy" I was for Austin. But I wasn't...but I was.
I checked Instagram, he had posted a selfie collage with Sierra. She wasn't exactly mean type, or so it seemed, but she was taking my Austin.
Not exactly taking him...but...
Brushing it off, I sighed, checking twitter. Austin had retweeted another selfie but this time it looked more personal. He had captioned it as "Looking forward to spending more time with this sweetheart"
I heard the door open. It had to be Austin, his heavy footsteps on the floor now.
"Austin, what the actual fuck?" I got up standing in front of him so he looked me in the eye, and sure enough he stopped his childish grin and took a step back.
"'Looking forward to spending more time with this sweetheart' huh Austin?" I repeated the lines, probably sounding like a complete bitch.
He narrowed his eyes. "Alan what-"
"I bet you even fucking kissed her! You probably did!" My voice was rising.
"Alan calm the fuck down, I didn't kiss her!" Austin snapped. I glared at him, but my love for him was too strong, I couldn't yell at him anymore, and as if I was being the one yelled at, I collapsed to the ground, covering my face with my hands. Austin looked down at me, once more.
He was probably thinking 'Why the hell was I ever with him '. I felt like shit once again.
