(I apologize to everybody who has read this far haha I'm not that great buut oh well uh good luck?)
Alan's P.O.V.
I hit my head on the wall, talking to myself. I applied the band-aid, sitting there for a moment. They're talking about me...or Austin. Making fun of us. That stupid Cashby thing.
Eventually I managed to get myself off of the floor and mademy way back to the guys on the couch, not sure if I wanted to even sit with them.
"Hey," I collapsed next to Aaron for once, ignoring Austin's gaze.
"We were just talking about you!" Phil laughed.
"I couldn't have guessed I'm that attractive, woah." I faked my surprise.
Aaron laughed at something on TV.
"Uhm so can we go to the aquarium tomorrow?" I asked after a while.
Tino shrugged. "I wouldn't mind, personally."
"But rockclimbing!" Aaron protested.
"We can go rockclimbing first." Austin smiled at Aaron. I watched the conversation.
The guys were acting a bit odd.
Austin's P.O.V.
The next morning we immediately headed off to a rockclimbing place indoors. Thankfully nobody noticed us or recognized us. I didn't want to pull any attention to the cashby thing.
"Who's all climbing?" The woman at the front desk asked.
"Three of us," I answered shortly after, studying her tidy straight brown hair and brown eyes. Aaron, Phil, and Alan wanted to climb while Tino stayed back at the bus and I came to watch.
Soon enough a man came out and gave the three instructions and a quick safety lesson before helping them out with the harnesses. I swear Phil glanced over at me a couple of times to make sure I wasn't watching Alan.
"Okay, we'll be going this way now." the man led the way to the several different walls, all looming several stories high.
"Who first?"
"Me!" Aaron was attached to the rope and he started to climb. I looked at Alan, who turned around to face me.
"You sure you're not scared?" I smirked at him. I enjoyed seeing him do reckless things and ending up not succeeding. But it wasn't as if rockclimbing was reckless, anyways.
"I'm not scared." Alan's voice cracked, but he cleared it quickly.
I watched Aaron reach the top and then swing back down.
"Your turn," I ruffled Alan's hair before he was attached to the rope, and started climbing the wall.
"Austin," Phil punched me in the shoulder. "Stop it."
I pulled my eyes off of Alan and looked at Phil a bit shocked.
"Alan doesn't want you watching his ass," Phil's expression changed to mischevious.
"Shit, what?" I murmured. I looked back up at Alan. Damn.
"Can I...please...." Alan sounded small from up there, and soon was bouncing his way down. He took his gear off and rubbed his face in his hand.
"You okay bud?" I instinctively engulfed Alan in a hug, his tense body relaxing only a bit. "It's okay,"
Phil gave me a blank stare before turning away. Alan's body pressed close to mine was way worth than watching him suffer.
"I'm afraid of heights?" he shuddered, before probably realizing he was in his best friend's arms. "Uh..."
Alan sort of seperated himself from my grasp, and I felt empty. I hid my emotions once again, paying at the front desk and laughing about it on the tour bus. "I was just worried. It's okay, I scare myself sometimes."
I must seem pretty determined to ignore Cashby, I hope. Maybe its just my instinct of what's best for the fans; for the band. I surely did enjoy Alan in my arms, but I told myself, Austin Carlile you are not falling for Alan, your best friend.
