Chapter 6---Party for the Birthday Boy

*Lexie's P.O.V.*

Before I could answer Sam's question, our waiter set our plates of food down in front of us. My mouth was watering uncontrollably, and my stomach was flipping nonstop.

Sam looked up at me, waiting for my answer.

"Yes." I smiled, taking my first bite of food.

He smiled the biggest smile a person could smile. Awwwww.

"You're so cute when you do that." I giggled.

"Do what?" He asked.

"When you smile from ear to ear. it makes your dimples bigger." I explained.

"Enough drooling Sexy Lexie." Sam laughed.

"How about we play an I spy game, but it has to be something embarrassing on another person?" I suggested.

"Your so childish sometimes, but yes." He gave in.

"I'll go first. I spy something red and white."

"That little girl's zit over there." Sam replied.

"How did you get that so fast?!" I gasped.

"I'm just an amazing guesser." He explained.

I shook my head, pretending to be upset, but actually laughing in the end.

After our main course, our waiter came back to take our dessert orders. Sam agreed with sharing a piece of the tiramisu cheesecake with me since I was already stuffed.

"Thank you for dinner." I smiled.

"Your welcome. I hope you enjoyed our first date as much as I did." Sam smiled back.

"I can't wait to get home. Part of me just wants to cuddle up with Ozzie." I said.

"He's a good cuddler, almost as good as me." He smirked.

"I think a dog beats my new boyfriend." I thought aloud.

"I think your wrong." He chuckled just as the cheesecake came to our table.

"If it gets too crazy, just tell me, and I can take you home." Sam said, pulling up into Jack Gilinsky's driveway.

The street was full of cars, but they must have left a 'spot of honor' for Sam since it was his birthday. Jack was throwing the party, and to be honest, I didn't know him that well, but hopefully that'll change.

"Okay." I smiled, getting out of the car.

Sam and I were still in our nice clothes, but I didn't really feel like changing. We were greeted by Mike at the door, who handed us overflowing red solo cups of beer, and Sam officially introduced him to me and vice versa. When everybody saw Sam walk through the door, they cheered and yelled 'happy birthday.'

"Here." Sam yelled over the music. "I want you to meet someone."

As he led me through the crowd full of teenagers holding red solo cups, I could've sworn I saw Lily with Jack G., but I doubt it. Sam walked us up to these girls sitting that were dancing together.

"This is Mallory, and this is Emily." Sam introduced, pointing to each one.

"Hi! I'm Lexie!" I shouted, taking a drink of my beer.

"Dance with us!" They laughed.

"I'm gonna go run off to the other guys. Are you okay here?" Sam asked.

I nodded, waving for him to leave. Mallory, Emily, and I danced until we couldn't feel our legs anymore, so we went to go sit down. It was safe to say that they were almost as drunk as I was. I felt pretty stable and not completely drunk, so you could call me tipsy.

"More beer?" Emily suggested, laughing for no reason.

"Yes!" I screamed.

"I'll be right back." She smiled, disappearing into the sea of people.

I turned around to see Mallory full on making out with Jack Johnson. She had him pressed against a wall, and he couldn't seem to keep his hands off of her. Okay, enough of that. I stood up and ventured out to find Sam.

I heard shouting coming from the garage, so I walked out to see what all the noise was. Beer pong. Sam against Brock. Brock was winning by a couple cups, and Sam was totally hammered.

"Lexie!" He slurred as I walked over to him.

"Hey babe." I smiled, not acting myself because of the alcohol, and jumping up on him.

Sam caught me underneath my butt, and I wrapped my legs around his torso. I moaned, not caring if anyone heard. We were basically kissing each other's faces off until Brock pulled me off, so Sam could make his throw. He got one of the back cups, so as Brock chugged that, I leaned up to Sam's ear.

"Dance with me when your done." I whispered, walking off to go find Emily.

She was waiting for me on the couch that I left, so I greeted her before taking a big gulp of beer.

"Let's dance!" Emily cheered, pulling me to the makeshift dance floor.

With every move we made, beer would spill out of our cups. By the time Sam got here, my cup was empty, but I drank most of it anyways. I set it down on a coffee table before tugging Sam back to where I was dancing. Emily ran off, probably to get more beer.

"Did you win?" I shouted, wrapping my arms around Sam's neck.

"No." He shook his head, smiling.

Fancy by Iggy Azalea started playing, so I turned around and started grinding on Sam. I've never really done that before, but I was really drunk. Sam's hands rested on my hips, and he moved to the song right along with me.

"You're a good dancer babe." Sam whispered in my ear, pulling me closer to him.

"Oh uh." I panicked, running to the bathroom, and puking my guts out.

When I was finally ready to come back out, I walked over to Sam, who was scrolling through twitter on the couch.

"Babe, I think I'm gonna walk home. I don't feel so good." I explained.

"Do you want me to drive you? It's pretty cold out." Sam offered.

"No, you had enough to drink. My house is only like a mile away." I said, leaning down to hug him.

"Be safe." He smiled as I headed for the door.

The second the cold air hit me, I pulled my coat tighter around me. Tonight was fun, but tomorrow will be terrible due to the hangover I'll get. Yay.
