Chapter Five: Just Friends

*four months later*

~Marianna~

These boys are so creepy its kind of weird. I've seen all of them naked, and the way it happens was very awkward. They'd come in the house in their underwear and there was always one of them that was naked.

I went down stairs and waited on Hayes to come back. "they've been gonna all morning, I'm going to call Nash" Kaitlyn said grabbing her phone. Kaitlyn is Nash's girlfriend she's skinny but not too skinny, she has brunette hair and her eyes are hazel.

"katty, chill, they'll be okay I can assure you of that" I took her phone out of her hand and sat it down.

"Mari, Kaitlyn we're back" I heard Hayes say.

"see I told you" I laughed sipping some of my lemonade.

"hey girls" they said coming in shirtless.

"so who was the unlucky one today?" I ask as Hayes leaned against me.

"Matt" Nash snickered as he hopped on the counter.

"really guys?" he came in the kitchen. Hayes covered my eyes.

"really Hayes, its not like I haven't seen it before"

"yeah I know I just didn't want you to see me drinking your drink"

He's so immature

"you're an ass hole and you guys wreak, you guys need to take showers... now" I ordered.

"yes ma'am!" they all said.

"I got up stairs" Nash hopped off the counter and ran upstairs.

"hallway!" Carter said.

"Mari's room!" Cameron screamed stumbling out the kitchen; running into the door on the way.

"I guess I'll just wait in the living room" Matt said.

"you better not sit on the sofa naked Matthew Lee Espinosa!" I said sternly.

"Mari what am I supposed to do" he wined.

"here" Hayes nodded "have these" he grabbed some pants from under the cabinet.

"so now that they are gone..."

"what?" He sat me on the counter and stood between my legs.

"what are we doing tonight?"

"I don't know I'll think of something for us to do, since you guys been at work all day" I stated and he intertwined our fingers.

So lately I've been in charge, and I kind of like it. The boys listen to my every command, since I'm not a jerk I don't take advantage of it.

"hey! yeah, me.. over here, I'm still in here!" Kaitlyn said waving her hands on the air.

"Go take a shower Hayes you stink foreal" I put my hand on his bare chest.

We made eye contact, then I blushed, "shower... now" I watched as he left out. then Kaitlyn jumped out her seat.

"what's up with you and Hayes?"

"what? Girl what are you talking about?"  I laughed slightly.

"you and Hayes have a thing" she hip bumped me.

"no we don't" was all I said before leaving the kitchen.

"yes you do, you and Hayes have a--" I covered her mouth.

"shh!"

"so its true?" she whispered

"no... its not" I whispered back.

"then what are you guys?"

"we're just friends, he saved me, we talked,we know about each other and that's it"

She smirked "okay sure"

"I not lying"

"I said okay!" she laughed "I believe you"

"good" I walked upstairs into my room and laid across the bed.

I haven't left out of the house in four months. Hayes and Nash say I can't leave because since I left Dustin and his friends after me now. I'll admit that I was really scared but after Hayes talked to me I calmed down, but I still have the nightmares that don't stop.

"Hey Mari you okay?" Hayes said coming out my bathroom.

"yeah I just was thinking"  I sat up. He walked towards the bed and sat next to me.

"I know this is hard for you to adapt to Marianna, but we're looking into it"

"okay Hayes you tell me the same thing every day" I sighed

"I know, I know"

"let's go down stairs and start game night" I grabbed his hand and pulled him off the bed.

I stopped "Hayes?"

"yeah Mari?"

"thank you... for everything"

He didn't reply he just wrapped arms around me. We slowly rocked back and forth.

~Hayes~

I looked down at her, as she wrapped her arms around my body.

"Hayes you're the only best friend I have" she said.

I froze. Did she just...

I've just been Friend Zoned.

So I've written this chapter about five times I didn't know exactly what to put but I got my plot now. hehehe. There will be drama in the next chapters.
