Chapter 10: Life Continues on

           It has been exactly 1 month since the events took place. Everybody had being healing in there own way, me and Dwayne have been spending more time together than usual. I've talked to Chris every now and then, but he has been to busy with he law school stuff. Dwayne tried talking to Kayla only to find out she cheated on him but he forgave and forgot.
           Ion know why I would of dumped dat hoe on the spot. My mom, dad, and Jordan know what's going on and they are supporting me helping Dwayne and they told me to watch and protect him.
         I woke up this morning to an empty bed. Dwayne was probably out shooting some basketballs or something, I just got out of bed and took and shower and got changed.

             After I got done with my shower and stuff I got a text from momma C telling me that she needs to talk to me, I sent her a quick text back saying I'm on my way.
          I wore a black fitted sun dress, I tied a corner of the dress in a knot for a cute design, I loosely laced up my black and red air Jordans, and threw on a blue jean jacket.
        I grabbed my stuff, locked his house, and went to momma C's house. She wasn't that far because, she wasn't finna let Dwayne move far from her. I chuckled at the thought, he a lil mommas boy.
          I got to her house and I was getting ready to knock on her door when her nephew Javonte opened the door.
         He 6'1, dark skinned,with real curly hair. "Ayee Wassuhh Jasmine you looking mighty good today, have you thought about giving me your number yet?" He said leaning against the door.
"Javonte leave her alone before I beat yo ass lil nigga." Momma C called out to him. He smacked his lips and pouted, I just laughed and let myself in. I took my shoes off at the door and walked into the kitchen where momma C was preparing breakfast.

               "Hey momma C, Whatchu cooking?" I asked while sitting at the Island counter.
"Hey baby doll, I ain't cooking nothing special just eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, pancakes, and toast with fruit for the side." She said and that ain't special? I thought, I just shook my head and chuckled.
              "So I wanted to talk to you about Dwayne." She said while slicing up some strawberries. "Okay what about him?" I asked very curious. "I know what's goin on between you two..." she said looking up at me, my eyes bugged out. "Umm w-what do you mean momma?" I asked. "Girl don't play with me I know you in love with that boy, and he is in love with you too." She said throwing the fruit in the bowl and slicing up some more apples.
          "Um momma C, you got it all wrong yeah I love him but we're just bestfriends." I said trying to reassure myself more than her. "Is that all you want?" She asked. "Um I don't...I don't know..." I said sounding puzzled. "I mean it was but I don't know." I said knowing the truth. "Yes you do now tell me." She said in her more demanding voice.

            "Momma I think I'm falling for him." I confessed. I lowered my voice as I continued. "Me and Dwayne has been doing...you know doing the do." I said. "And it's not like love making it was supposed to be just for fun, but it's not fun anymore for me..." I said putting my head down. "Don't get me wrong it's great it's just that I can't help but feel that it can be so much more." I sighed out.
         "Babygirl you are in love with him." she chuckled, while stopping what she was doing and looking me straight in the eyes. "And you can't help it, you want to deny it as much as you can. Guess what baby that's not going to work.." she said and started back to chopping up fruit, it went silent for a little tell she spoke. "You can close your eyes to the things you don't want to see, but you can't close your heart to the things you don't want to feel." Was all she said and had to say to make me start thinking.
             What if I'm falling in love with him...we could be something...No erase those thoughts Jazz I said to myself.

           I was knocked out of my train of thought when I saw a text from Dwayne asking where I was at. I told him and he said he was on his way.
              "Now baby doll this is still a rough time for Dwayne so I want you to stick by his side, he won't talk to anybody else but you about how he is feeling. Don't let him down I know it's rough for the both of you but you shall be seen through this. I love you babygirl." She said I got up and gave her a long hug. "I love you too momma thank you so much I really needed this talk." I said squeezing onto her not wanting to let go.
             I love my mommas. After that there was a knock on the door Javonte opened it and it was Dwayne, they dapped each other up and went separate ways. Dwayne came into the kitchen. "Ahh my two favorite girls.." he said. "Hey princess." he said kissing me on my neck. Momma gave me that "HA GOT CHO ASS" look and I just shook my head. "Hey momma.." he said while kissing her on the cheek.
             "Hey lil boy and don't come in my kitchen all sweaty and shit making it smell like a can of bounce that ass." She said I laughed so damn hard. "Damn momma that's low.." Dwayne said laughing. "Ion care and don't be cursing in my house now go take a shower." momma C said he did as he was told and went up stairs.
           I just watched him walk away. "Go up there you know you want too." Momma said smirking at me. I laughed and started to walk out the kitchen. "Aye baby doll?.." she said I turned around. "Yes momma?" I asked. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do and you know that's not very much." She said winking at me which made we laugh some more. "Yess ma'am.." I said walking out the kitchen to go upstairs.
          I got upstairs and Dwayne was in his old room, still in the shower. So I laid on the bed on my stomach waiting for him to get out of the shower. I pulled out my phone and started texting Jordan I wanted to get on his nerves.

             I guess I was to busy on my phone that I didn't hear the shower stop or the door open. I felt a hand slap my ass hard as fuck, I was about to scream but I pulled myself together before I could.
          I turned around getting ready to start yelling at him when I lost all my train of thought, I saw Dwayne with a towel hanging low on his hips, to where you could see his V line water dripping off of his 6 pack, while his body was just glistening and his curls where hanging loosely, suddenly I started thanking god for his creation.
          "Was you about to say something?" Dwayne asked in his deep voice. I got up and was getting ready to yell when no words would come out. "Um...y-yes I was, w-who the hell do you think you are? Coming and slapping my ass like that?" I asked trying to stay mad and crossing my arms.

              He leaned forwards grabbed my ass with both hands, and squeezed it. "I'm Dwayne Johnson baby and that's my ass." He whispered in my ear. When I tell you I was finna flip, I almost lost it. "Oh really??" I said trying to act all tuff. "Mhm.." was all he said while he started to suck on my neck leaving love bites.
           He started to take my jacket off my shoulders. "Dwayne not in your mommas house, we going to make to much noise." I said trying not to moan.
             "Well then you better be quite..." he whispered, he attached his lips to mine claiming them as his and he stuck his tongue in my mouth exploring.
              I moaned out of satisfaction. "Baby I need you.." He said rubbing his hands all over my body. I wanted to give in but I wasn't finna disrespect momma C's house like that.
            So I pulled myself together took his hands off of me and put my jacket back on. While I was turned around he came up behind me, and pressed his member against my ass; I gasped. "Baby let me make you feel good." He said while his hand was going down my pants I was already wet.

           I was getting ready to lay my head back on his shoulder and lets him get to work when momma knocked on the door, saved by the damn bell. Thank you momma I said to myself. "Breakfast is ready you to so get y'all self ready and come eat.." She said and walked away from the door.
          "Ugh right when I was finna get some.." Dwayne pouted while crossing his arms. "Maybe later?" I said while rapping my arms around his neck and kissing his lips. "Mmm it better be later.." he said kissing me back and grabbing onto me tight. After I broke the kiss we just stared at each other for the longest.

He was looking at me like he was trying to read me. "I love you so much Jasmine more than I should.." he whispered the last few words. I got this tugging in my stomach and this pinching at my heart. "I love you too Dwayne, don't you ever forget that." After that he was still looking at me I didn't want to confess how I really felt about him so I broke the moment.

"Welp let's go eat..." I said letting go and walking out of the room. "Umm y-yeah lets go do that..." he said and followed me down stairs.
