Melcon pov
The feeling of movement is what woke me. It was soothing, so soothing that I wanted to go back to sleep, but my mind was reeling.
I didn't know where I was. The blue sky that I had remembered was gone and now all that lay before me was a bare beaten path.
The sound of horse hooves invaded my senses they were loud, too loud. I lifted my head slightly and noticed a lone figure walking ahead of me.
He was an older man with dirty blond hair that reached around his shoulders. Who was he? Did I know him? Was he friend or foe? So many questions, but no answers.
I lifted my body up so I was sitting straddle on the Horse. It's dark brown coat felt soft against my hands. The man must not of heard me sit up for he did not move.
I wanted to speak but my throat was dry. He must have heard me though because he looked over his shoulder, a shocked expression graced his face when he saw me sitting up.
He stopped the horse but did not come any closer towards me. "Are you okay?" he asked. I touched my throat indicating I was thirsty. He immediately went towards the saddlebag and grabbed a water flask.
I took it from him nodding my head in thanks and eagerly gulped to down the contents. "Thank you" I said to the man but I didn't say anymore. I was starting to get tired again.
Sitting up and drinking water had stolen most of my energy. I must have fallen asleep after that.
Stranger's POV
The first thing I noticed when the boy awoke was his eyes. I guess you could say I told you so but to whom I don't know.
They were rather beautiful like predicted. They were a dark rich brown almost leaning towards obsidian when shadows fell on them, but not quite.
I gave the boy whose name I still did not know my water flask. He was quite thirsty I could tell but he knew not to drink too fast.
And just like that he was asleep again. I smiled slightly at the sight before me. I turned around and continued on my way.
I had not gone very far in but I knew they would be here soon if not they were not already.
It was not long after these thoughts made their presence in my mind when I was surrounded by tall elegant figures.
I was not asked questions but roughly manhandled. I was torn away from my horse and the boy.
A all blond elf walked over to my horse and took the boy in his arms bridal style. While another took my horse's reins. I was then led deeper into the Woods.
I was roughly thrown to the ground in front of a Regal looking throne. The king, Thranduil looked upon me with what I would say was anger, scorn, and loathing. He didn't say anything for a few minutes as he gazed into my eyes with a hard look.
I could do nothing but avert my gaze away from those piercing eyes. The king was about to speak when the boy was carried in.
Thranduil's eyes widened and only slightly has he gazed upon the unmoving figure. I don't know how it was possible but his eyes hardened even more as he gazed upon me.
"Throw him in the dungeon" the king practically sneered as he rose from his throne and walk towards the boy. I did not know who the boy was to the king, but I knew I was in deep shit.
