Unexpected love

The Letter

3rd person's POV
Only two weeks were left in Bella and Edward's wedding. Hermione was excited for the wedding but she was worried at the same time. She had noticed the way Edward looked at her. She had noticed the hungry look in his eyes. But she was so glad that Cedric was coming to attend the wedding after two days.

She was sitting on her bed while reading a book. When she heard some noise from her window. Her eyes lit up when she saw Cedric's owl, Cyrus pecking on her window. She quickly opened the window and untied the letter from the owl's leg . She gave the owl an owl treat and it flew away. She quickly opened the letter. Her eyes scanned the letter and a tear rolled down her cheek, her happy expression changed into sad and gloomy expression. The letter said.

Hey love,
How are you? Hermione like you know I was coming to attend the wedding to America after two days. Now I won't be coming . I am so sorry. The ministry wants me and some other ministry members to go to France for a meeting . I am so sorry. I miss you.

Tears escaped her eyes . She felt alone and sad. She just now wanted to go back to England to her friends, to Cedric.

Bella's POV
Edward came to meet me . The first thing he asked for when he arrived was where Hermione was. I felt quite awkward around him nowadays.

"Where's Hermione,"
"In her room," I replied
"It lunch time," he told me
" I know, but she hasn't left her room all day she's quite sad today," I told him
"Why is everything alright? Did someone hurt her?" He asked with a worried expression.
"No-no actually her boyfriend was coming for our wedding but because of some important matters he couldn't come,"
"Oh!" He said happily I was so confused to see his sudden happiness.

Edward's POV
I felt so relieved to know that bloody idiot her boyfriend was not coming.
"Let's cheer her up," I happily told Bella she just nodded.
"You go bring down Hermione and I'll pizza for both of you and we can watch a movie," I told Bella
"Good idea!" She answered
After 15 minutes Bella brought Hermione from her room. She was like always beautiful but the only thing missing was her breathtaking smile.

Pizza arrived and we decided to watch 'A walk to remember' ,because Bella told me it was Hermione's favourite movie. But during the whole movie my concentration was only on Hermione on Bella or the Movie. Bella had a phone call she paused the movie and went out to attend the call. I got up from my place and sat next to Hermione, but her eyes were fixed on her hands but I could easily tell she was thinking something.

"So your Boyfriend is not coming?" I asked her and she just shook her head.
"You miss him?" I asked her again and she nodded her head and I suddenly felt very angry.
" I always feel so sad and lonely without him," she said in low tone. She placed her head on my shoulder while  tears escaped her eyes I held her small, delicate and warm hand in my big and cold hand. I was in heaven to hold her hands and have her so close to me.
"But you have Charlie, Bella and...me" I told her while giving her hand a gentle squeeze.
I wrapped my other arm around her shoulders, I was little shocked to see Hermione like that she didn't even struggle to get my hands off her.
"You won't Understand," she at last spoke
I stayed silent I wish I could tell her how much I understand her.

I was about to kiss her forehead when the damn doorbell rang. I am so irritated with people who destroy my beautiful moments.
"I'll open it," I felt really bad while leaving her warm hand she whipped her tears with a back of her hands.
When I opened the door a boy I saw a boy he was carrying a bonquet of White roses. He looked familiar but I just couldn't remember where I saw him.

He broke awkward silence between us " Does Hermione Granger live here?" he asked
