Hermione's POV It was almost midnight I was feeling a little exausted and a little hot, because my room here in Fork is twice smaller than my room in England. I was quiet bored when my phone rang. I smiled when I saw the caller ID.
"Hello," I said "Hey Mia," said Cedric "Why are you still awake?" I quickly asked "I should be asking you the same question," he said even though I could not see himI could tell he would be smiling. "I can't sleep,You?" "Same." "I want to go somewhere," I told him and I heard him chuckle lightly. "Where do you want to go my Lady?" "We can go to the beach. Can you come?" I asked him "Sure why not," I quickly ended the call. After ten minutes there was a tap on my window. Cedric was on his broom. I quickly joined him on his broom behind him . He slowly took off knowing how much I hate flying but still sometimes he increases the speed. I held him more tightly when he increased the speed.
"Ced you know how much I am scared of heights why do you always start slowly and increase the speed later," I asked him annoyed by him. "First I start slowly because If I took off very fastly you will not feel comfortable and secondly I increase speed more so you can hold me tightly like now," he said his back was towards me but I could tell he would smirking. "Grow up Ced," I rolled my eyes but kissed his right cheek.
When we reached our destination. We quietly sat down but the silence between us wasn't an awkward silence it was a comfortable one. Cedric wrapped his arms around me pulling me closer and I rested my head on his chest.
"Edward is a vampire," he broke the silence "I know," I replied "You knew and you never told me, you know how dangerous he is he can kill a person before one can blink,you seriously think after knowing this about your cousin's future - husband I would let you stay-" he interrupted was by his girlfriend. "Cedric he is not dangerous have you seen his eyes they are golden while human eaters have red eyes and Aninal-eaters have golden. And you know I am perfectly well and can defend myself," I answered back angril pulling away. "I know" he sighed " I know you can protect yourself but you know I almost lost you during the war," he said while looking at his hands . I just layed my head on his chest while he wrapped his arms around my shoulder he kissed my head before putting his head on mine. We again fell in complete silence wrapped up in each others arms.
"Promise me you will never leave me Hermione," he softly said but his words confused me. "What made you say that Love," I gently asked while looking up at him he had a pained look. "It's just....I am scared of loosing You-"he stopped and sighed "If you ever leave me Mione I'll be broken and the only cure to my pain would be death, Hermione I can't afford loosing you not now or ever," his gripped tightened around me. I moved to face him and stared in his eyes and said "Never think of dieing because I will never leave you, I belong to you only you," I softly stroked his cheek and Cedric leaned into the touch. We stared into each others for God knows how long when he leaned forward and kissed me I immediately replied to his kiss. This kiss unlike our others was soft and showed me that how deeply this man I shortly came to love cares for me. "I love you," was all he said when we pulled away and he again pulled me in the same position we earlier were in. "I know and I love you for that," I replied and closed my eyes.
3rd person's POV They sat in complete silence. When Cedric looked down at the beautiful witch in his arms e noticed she was sleeping. He gently picked her up in his arms and took her back home . He placed the sleeping witch on her bed and moved to lay next to her. When he was comfortable he pulled Hermione close against his chest . He looked down at her sleeping face . He kissed her forehead before drifting into the world of dreams .
Unaware of the dangers waiting ahead.
