Goodnight | Fourteen

"How are you now?" taehyung asked after a few minutes. Tiredly I opened my eyes, placing my hand on my forehead. "A bit better, still feel kinda dizy though." He nodded and sighed, looking down at his feet. "Does that happen a lot?" He asked, subtly looking up at me. "Every now and then, but usually I can handle them on my own." I sighed as I propped my feet up on the couch, leaning my chin on my knee.

"I'm sorry." "Don't apologize, it's not your fault." I reassured him before letting the side of my face lean on my knees, my eyes treathening to close. "I'd better go sleep." I murmurred before straightening my legs and making an attempt on standing up straight. Over-estimating my own power I stumbled forward and almost lost my balance before a hand grabbed my arm, stopping me from falling over.

"Let me help you, it's the least I can do." Taehyung said as he stood up and crouched infront of me, signaling me to jump on his back. Crawling like a little kid I managed to get on his back as his big hands wrapped around my thighs. Too tired to really think I wrapped my arms around his neck and layed my head in his neck, inhaling his comforting warm smell.

Taehyung steadied himself and walked towards the stairs, slowly going up to make sure I didn't hurt my legs on the railing. "Which door leads to your room?" He said as he eyed the four similar white doors. "The second one on the right." I mumbled, opening my eyes slightly to see where he was going.

"Here?" Taehyung asked to make sure. I nodded. "Yes." Quietly he opened the door, as if he was scared he would make too much noise. he walked further to the bed and sat down on it, letting go of my legs as I uwrapped my arms from his neck and pushed my body away from his. My tired arms pulled the covers away and I immediatly burried myself underneath them, craving for some sleep at this point.

"Do you need anything else?" Taehyung asked as he stood up, ready to leave the room. "No thank you." He nodded and turned around. "Wait." Suprised he turned around and looked at me. "Mmh?" "Can we talk a bit?" I mumbled, not wanting to be alone. "You should really sleep." He insisted. I shook my head. "I don't want to be alone, what if my head starts hurting like that again."

He seemse to hesitate for a few seconds before he sighed and walked towards the bed with a weak smile. He let himself fall on the floor next to the bed, just infront of me. "Thank you." He smiled and looked down, fidlign with his hands. "How often do you get these headaches?" He asked as he plucked at the end of his sweater. "I told you, every now and then." I furrowed. "No, like a number." I sighed and turned my body around to lay on my back, staring at the ceiling. "Sometimes once or twice a week, if i'm lucky once every two weeks. But usually they are ok to handle." I turned my head to look at him as I finished my sentence, he nodded.

"Why?" He looked up. "What?" "Why do you have them?" He said, his voice sounding a little more stern this time. "O-oh, a long story i'd rather not tell." "We have time." he responded as he looked at his watch. "It's only 9:35 PM" "Sorry, I don't know you enough yet." I hesistantly said, not wanting to hurt him. "Oh." He said, biting the inside of his cheek as his cheeks reddened a bit, almost unnoticably. "Sorry." "It's ok, maybe I'll tell you once."

He nodded and turned his head up to look at me. Feeling my eyelids become heavy I pulled the covers more over my body, only half of my head peeking out. "I'm going so you can sleep." He said as he stood up. I just nodded. "Goodnight." I mubled from under the fluffy white duvet. "Goodnight." I could just manage to hear as he closed the door.

As I listened to his footsteps descending downstairs I turned my body on my side and let myself drift off to sleep.
