"Come! We're almost there!" Taehyung said as he dragged me by my arm, I had no idea to where but I was becoming tired from the constant walking. "I'm tired." I whined as I tried not to fall over my own feet which where practically dragging me forward. My eyelids became heavier as the high grass tickled my legs and the warm wind blew trough my hair, the soft feeling of it made me even sleepier, making it hard for me to pay attention to the path infront of me.

As if Taehyung could read my mind he slowed down and stopped. I looked up to see a big field infront of me, A few trees in the middle which where losing their leaves. The grass and flowers in the field dancing along with the wind as the sun was almost gone. Because the nightsky was settling it let off a cold light, giving everything a blue-ish tint.

"We're here!" Taehyung said as he tugged my hand, smiling at me in excitement. "Why did you bring me here?" I asked as I let go of his hand and walked to the trees in the middle of the open place. "It's your 10th birhtday so I wanted to show you this place." Taehyung said as he jogged towards me. "It's pretty." I said as I sat down, leaning my back against the tree.

"When did you find this place?" I asked as I had scanned the place, wondering how he even found this. "My mom used to take me here a lot before she left me and my dad." he smiled. I nodded and closed my eyes as my body was too tired to keep them open. "Hey, don't sleep yet!" He said as he shook me. "I won't."

"I have something for you." He said after a while. I opened my eyes and turned my body a bit, facing his. "What is it?" I asked as I saw his arms behind him, obvious that he was hiding something from me. His smile grew bigger and he showed a little present, making extra moves with his hands to look like someone who worked on TV to sell something. "Here, open it." He said as he placed it in my hand.

I took a good look at it, my eyes going over the carefully wraped paper. I was fascinated by how the bow was made on top. "Did you do this?" He laughed and shook his head "No, I asked the lady in the shop to do it." I nodded and let out a chuckle.

I untied the ribbon and opened the wrapping paper gently, not wanting to rip the pretty packaging. My eyes twinkeled in excitement when I saw a small box with elegant swirls on it. Placing the wrapping paper aside I opened the box, only to see a small bracelet with a cirlce-shaped pendant on it. I took the pendant inbetween my fingers and brought it closer to my face. There were two letters ingraved an 'M' on one side and a 'T' on the other. I smiled and looked up at Taehyung.

"Do you like it?" I nodded. "Can you put it on, I can't do it with one hand." He nodded once and took the bracelet from me. I put my wrist in his direction as he carefully put the bracelet around my wrist, it took a bit longer than expected as he strugled to secure it. I smiled and thanked him when he was done.

We both leaned stood up before walking from under the tree, wanting to watch the stars since the sun had gone down and was now replaced with a sky full of stars. "The sky is really pretty." I said as I layed down between the high grass. "It is." He breathed.

"You know what else is really pretty?" He said as he turned his head to face mine. "What?" I asked, looking at him as well. "You". He smiled brightly. A blush creeped on my face as I looked up again at the sky, too embarrased to look him in the eyes. "Thanks." I muttered.

Author-note

So I'm writing this on the cruise-ship right now (I'm currently on vacation) and I don't think I'll be able to post this within the next two weeks, maybe next week in New York? I have no idea, we'll see.
Also, idk if I'll still be alive since I'm in the island of the carribean rn and I can't handle heat at all (RIP me since it's like 38°C right now, 100 F if you don't know)
