I MADE IT TO POPS at the same time everyone else did. Although I wanted to take Nova up on her offer to leave clothes at her house, I really needed to shower and change clothes. Maybe the next time I go over there, I'll leave some extra clothes.
We saved the greetings for later because we had just seen each other. Instead, we went inside the dinner and picked a table near the back. Pops welcomed us in and said he'd be over to take our orders in a second.
"Ugh, I'm so hungry," Jughead complained, and Leon agreed. "Bitch, you just at cereal" Nova rolled her eyes at him.
"Yeah, an hour ago," He scoffed
"Big back bitch" Nova replied as Pops came over and took our orders.
Pops came over to our table and asked what we wanted. Of course, Jughead and Leo ordered a burger and fries, and the rest of us ordered milkshakes except Nova and Hakeem, who had just got water.
"You aren't hungry, Princess?" Sweet Pea asked Nova, who was typing away on her phone.
She shook her head, "Im lactose intolerant, and I don't fuck with burgers"
Jughead gasped, looking at Nova in disbelief, "How could you not like burgers?!"
"Them shits is nasty" Nova shrugged.
"You're weird. Anyways, let's get to business," Jughead said, dismissing Nova's hate for burgers. He pulls out his Macbook filled with stickers on the case. "Wait, why are we here again?" Hakeem asked confused
Groans passed through the table at his lack of memory. "To continue our conversation from yesterday," Deandre rolled his eyes.
"Yall still on this?" Nova sighed
"Yes! Penny Peabody is very dangerous and will do anything to get back at the serpents," Jughead stated in a serious tone. Nova rolled her eyes whilst crossing her arms, not wanting to hear about the conversation anymore.
"Things that we know for sure- He was present in Riverdale until this summer when he and Cheryl went on the boat. Nobody has seen him since, and he is presumed dead." Fangs states some of the key points
"Nova saw him at Walmart two days ago, correct?"
"Yeah," Nova says, shrugging. She looked so good today- not like she doesn't every day, though. Nova is extremely perfect, and anyone would kill to have her as their girlfriend.. especially me
"Which means she's back in town and probably looking for something," Jughead groaned with her head in her hands. "Or someone," Fangs added.
"I've never seen Shorty before, so I really can't help much," Leo shrugged. "Yeah, same," Kingsley agreed, along with Hakeem, who nodded.
