They went to Jack in the Box and ate in the parking lot. After eatibg they headed to Green Gables.
"Anne?" Gilbert asked
"yeah?" Anne said
"can we just forget about our 'rivalry' and just be friends?"
"I guess..." Anne replied seeming uniterested
"you guess?"
"well... I guess I need someone to help with my hangovers"
Gilbert laughed but Anne gave him a wierd look
"oh you're serious! I want us to be friends that hang out with eachother, talk to eachother, friends who are there for eachother."
" oh well yeah!"
"really?" he said giving her a smile
"yeah!"
"cool"
5 minutes passed and Anne broke the silence
"wait!"
"what?"
"Marilla and Matthew would be expecting to see Diana deopping me off not you."
"oh shoot you're right. well, I can't drop you there we'll just make a U-turn and drive to Diana's"
"ok"
they drove to Diana's house. Anne got out.
"Bye Gil! thanks for everything" Anne said
"no problem see you around" said Gilbert
"see ya"
he drove away and Anne walked towards the house with a smile. she walked inside the house to see you Ruby, Jane, and Diana with shocked faces.
"what?" Anne said blushing
"that was freaking Gilbert Blythe!" Diana yelled. her parents had been gone for the whole week that's how she got to go to the party.
"so?" Anne said
"1. 'sworn enemy' 2. you stayed at HIS house 3. YOU'RE BLUSHING!!!" Ruby said with a big smile
"SPILL THE TEAAAAA!!!!" Jane said
