Monday came around and Anne, Gilbert, and Cole were going to the fair.

Gilbert- are you guys there yet? i'm at the main gate
Cole-no but i'm around the corner
anne- i'm walking to the gate rn

Anne walked up to Gilbert and gave him a hug. "hellllooooo" Anne said.
"hi" gilbert chuckled "what's up with you?"
"i haven't had any human interaction over the weekend so it's nice to see an actual person for he first time in 3 days." Anne replied
"where's marilla?" gilbert asked
"she left to the vacation spot earlier on friday so she could have some 'relaxing quiet time'"
"got it"
Anne let go of gilbert and turned to see cole.
"COLE!" she yelled and ran up to him and jumped in his arms. he immediately hugged him back. they walked back to where gilbert was standing.
"and i thought i was special for receiving a normal hug." gilbert said with a pout.
"hAHAaA!! i'm the favorite!" cole said
they all laughed and walked inside.
time skip cause im lazy
it was 8pm and Cole left because he had to go to his cousins birthday party. so Anne and Gilbert went to the next ride which was a spinning one.
they were just laughing the whole time. as they got off they were dizzy and still laughing. Anne stumbled on to Gilbert and they stayed in the position of him holding her laughing.
a couple walked by and said "aww you two are such a cute couple!"
Anne laughed as she looked at gilbert but he wasn't laughing he was blushing
what's up with him? Anne thought
what's up with me? Gilbert thought
they both just brushed it off and went on a few more rides before they both went home.
the next morning
Anne's POV:
ughh. my feet are in pain. i'm so tired. i didn't take a shower last night so i smell like the water from the water rides. which isn't pleasant. i heard my phone vibrate and looked at my notification. it was from Gilbert. it said
gilbert- "i had a lot of fun last night. the most fun i've had in a while.. thank you❤️"
what? huh? heart? what does that
mean? it's probably nothing. why
should i be worrying about this?
I replied.
anne- "i had a lot fun too. and np! anything to make you happy😊-"
do i add a heart? i mean he did.
what harm could it do? nothing.
