Chapter 11

after Anne and Gilbert kissed they both smiled shyly and started walking back to the house
"Gilbert?" Anne said breaking the silence
"yeah?"
"the girls"
"what about them?"
"they're gonna wonder what happened"
"you're right... you could just tell them that... Mary needed help with the baby since Bash is out of town."
"ok"
they got to the house and stopped to face eachother
"bye, gil"
"bye, Anne"
they stared at eachother for a while. they both slowly leaned in and kissed. they pulled away and both giggled. they caught eachother's gaze and smiled. then he left. Anne smiled big to herself and turned around to see all three of the girls staring through the window in shock
"ooooooo..." they all said giggling
Anne's smiled whiped away and instantly went into embarrassment
she walked into the house with her head down while blushing she looked up to see them all sitting on the couch with their legs crossed
"so," Ruby began "what did you guys do?"
Anne's face grew even more red. they all started laughing and Anne laughed too. all the girls got up and walked to Anne
"how was it?" Jane said
"what did you guys say?" said Diana
"was it romantic?" Ruby said dreamily
Anne rolled her eyes but knew she had to tell them.
"ok so! we walked and I was like so what do you want? and he was like uuuuhh. anne I like you a lot then I was like really i like you too... now what? then he said now this and I was like what and then he kissed me!" Anne said super quickly
(AN- that was so awkward to write for some reason. sorry if that part sucked😂)
everyone was in shock except for Ruby
"but was it romantic?" Ruby said
"RUBY THEY KISSED!" Jane said
"did she kiss? back how deep was the kiss? WAS IT ROMANTIC!?"
"it was." Anne sighed " I did kiss back and he practically smashed his lips on mine" Anne then smiled
"oh! how CUTE!" Ruby squealed
"yes but DON'T TELL ANYONE!" Anne said making sure she was clear
"ok" the girls said.
